December Daily™ 2012 | Day Two
I don't usually know in advance what stories I want to tell for a certain day unless we have something planned.
Last night was one of those occasions as we got to see Willy Wonka performed by the Cottage Theater. It's a movie I watched and enjoyed as a kid (the Gene Wilder version) and one that my kids have now watched and also enjoyed. Simon loved it.
My journaling is a simple note to him about the experience and his awesome Christmas spirit.
On the left side I included a piece of the mailer about the play.
On the right I included a photo that Katie took of Simon and I outside the theater.
In Photoshop I added my journaling and some "hello december" word art. After printing I added an "A + S" using BasicGrey letter stickers.
Here's a look at the spread:

Hi Ali, I bought your 6x8 Dec. Daily overlays and I watched your video. Question - how do you print your 6x8 photos? I have an Epson 730 and have resized my photo in Elements, but can't get the picture to print at 6x8 size. I am googling like crazy, but not finding the answer. Do you have any tips? Thanks you so much!! Love your Dec. Daily and the products you supply for us. Shelly

Great photo, and your Simon sure is handsome. I am using your 4x6 overlays for my December Daily, and I can't believe how much easier has made the process. Everyday I take a photo, and do a little journaling on the opposite page, and I love the 4x6 size this year.

I love that you take your kids to a play each December, recalling Anna's trip to Nutcracker last year. There surely is nothing greater than watching the joy in your child. I can see how my 4 year old is getting his Dad into the Christmas spirit. It's awesome.
