December Studio AE from Technique Tuesday Blog Hop

Welcome to the December Studio AE from Technique Tuesday Blog Hop.

This month's set is called My Life:

Here's a look at my layout:

So love those little wood veener stars. I use Glossy Accents to adhere them.

This layout features two recent photos of Simon and Anna in their beds at bedtime. The backgound for the page is 8.5x11 full-photo (I placed the two photos together on one canvas in Photoshop). On top of that I added a strip of Lawn Fawn Upbeat pattern paper and used a 1.5 inch circle punch to remove a few partial circles. Inside those circles I added cork letters and a number (from Close To My Heart). I stitched around the outside of the page using silver thread (it's what's in the machine right now) and added a couple lines for journaling on each photo.

Here's a closer look at some of the details:

I stamped the "the things I love the most" sentiment using white ink and added a sticker from Pebbles Seen & Noted Black/White Label Maker Phrases Stickers. Under the title I stamped the date using Studio Calico Classic Calico 3 Roller Date Stamp.

A closer look at the journaling (using Mom's Typewriter font):

I always love your use of large photos. This looks so fantastic. Is it ever weird to use stamps in your own handwriting? :)
