January 2013 Studio AE Blog Hop from Technique Tuesday | Project Life 2012 Week Fifty-Two

Welcome to the January 2013 Technique Tuesday Studio AE Blog Hop.

This month I'm combining two things together by using the stamps in Project Life as I complete my 2012 album.

And in case you missed it yesterday, the new editions of Project Life are now available on Amazon.

This month's stamp set is called Be Mine. Great for Valentine's or other love-related sentiments.

Here's a look at my spread for Week Fifty-Two:

I love Project Life. I continue to love this style of memory keeping and will continue in 2013. This week also includes (but is not shown here) another insert that I'm using as exclusive content for Studio Calico's Day By Day workshop (includes more photos from our Kauai trip).

Here's a closer look at this week:

The stars are from the December Daily 4x6 Sentiment Boxes and was cut with the Silhouette. I've got a tutorial available here for how to use my digital elements with the Silhouette.

Journal cards are from the December Daily 3x4 Journal Card set.

I used this month's Studio AE stamp set to create a journal card and to stamp directly onto the bottom right photo. I also added a Beach Outline Banner to the top left photo.

I cut a piece of white cardstock to 3x4 and wrapped it in washi tape. I stamped "love you" onto white cardstock, hand-cut it following the circle shape and adhered it along the side of the journal card (trimming the excess off with scissors).

I also used the stamp set to stamp "love" onto the bottom right photo using white ink.

This is my first year attempting a project life scrapbook. I need to document the everyday stuff and not just the holidays and such. Way too cute!
