My word for 2013 is felicity

It means intense happiness and "the ability to find appropriate expression for one's thoughts"

Thought it was pretty cool and different.

I've chosen NEXT as my OLW for 2013. I am looking forward to what is next for me in all aspects of my life, as well as for my family. It's kind of my way of moving forward from the past.

I have prayed about this a lit. 2012 was the year I lost my best friend love in a night when he slept. My body, my heart, my soul and my spirit had to rest. I rested for the first tune in 42 years for probably 6 months. It is hard to start and it is hard to be in 2013 where he never lived only in 2012.

So my word is live. Both meanings: my soul is live. I live...
For me the word is a line or a path I suppose. It brought me to 2013 without a "re-start" for a new year. That is because I live therefore I am here.

Maybe it makes sense to others. It does in my life right now where my words of the past are so far away.

REMEMBER. Looking forward to your class! My BFF, who I do DD and Week in the Life with, gave it to me for Christmas. We are taking it together. Can't wait! Always amazes me how my one little word can guide my entire year, and make me look for new ways to see things. Thanks!!

I have picked the word HUMOR as a result of this quote I found on Pinterest.
"Every time you are able to find some humor in a difficult situation, you win."
And I think my 2013 can use a bit of humor and laughter. Some lightness :)

I'm still trying to decide between "act" and "work".
I travelled a lot last year, I discovered so many things, and I understood a lot too. Now I'm concentrating on my job, my professional life, and I know that I have to work to fulfill my ambitions and act because I want to do it abroad... lol !

My word is 'effort'... I need to make more of an effort at home. Whether it be deciding to stay up and scrapbook instead of sleeping or having a dance party with my girls instead of just watching tv, I need to choose the route with the most effort.

me That is my word for 2013. It kept "showing up" to me in random ways, and I've decided to embrace it for 2013. I have been putting others (my husband and sons, etc.) first for several years now and they will still, obviously, be a major part of my focus. I hope this word doesn't sound "selfish" but I do truly need to focus on myself and doing more things that make ME happy this year in addition to making others happy. I think I lost a little part of myself along the way, somewhere after marriage and having kids, and I want 2013 to be the year to re-discover ME. One day into 2013 and I have already forced myself to not worry and make time for myself...a bubble bath, which I never get to do and I started reading a good book at the same time (which I also never seem to have time to do). Taking time for little moments like this every day are sure to make me a happier mom and wife and it will spill over again into the rest of my life.
