Project Life 2013 | Week Two
Hello Project Life 2013 | Week Two.
This has been a crazy travel month for me and I'm not complaining one little bit.
The word art on the photo of me ("heart today") and "welcoming today with an open heart" is from the Heart Today set. Learn how to add word art to your photos here.
The "hello" accent was from a journaling card in Studio Calico's January Project Life kit.
Dear Disneyland & California Adventure, I love you. Thank you for being fun and crazy and for having light-up drinks at the Mad Hatter Tea Party. The End.
The "grand day" oval sticker (cut in half) came from October Afternoon's Midway Word Sticker Sheet.
"Life = Fun" glitter stickers are American Crafts White Journal Pumpkin Patch Glitter Foam Thickers Stickers.
I'm still loving cutting up journal cards to add more words to the edges of my photos. Simple and easy way to add context.
The "4X" are Pink Paislee Portfolio Puffy Glitter Alphabet Stickers. The yellow washi tape is from Bella Blvd. The geotag chipboard is coming soon from Studio Calico.

I love that selfie of you with the <3 today , so gorgeous. The floating barbies are so great too... I remember doing that when I was a little girl! Your PL is such an inspiration ...the photos, the light, the design. Thanks for sharing it and yourself with us. Hugs.

I totally love the word art "welcoming today with an open heart! And of course, no need to say that I'm (again) a fan of your layout!

I wish I knew more about lighting. Your self portraits in the mirror are great! I take mine and look older / more washed out than I actually am. ANy tips?
If it feels too dark I often use Curves or Levels in Photoshop to adjust and make the images lighter. You can also adjust the contrast. Lots of play :).

Beautiful layout. Where did your "today" card come from? I like it a lot.
It's from this word art set (printed on pattern paper): http://www.designerdigitals.com/digital-scrapbooking/supplies/product_info.php/products_id/15192

Hi Ali .. love everything you do .. I have a question. Just bought myself a Picturemate and I love the look of the photos Im just having a little trouble with placing overlays like your frames and boxes and even if I just type or draw directly on my photos .. when I print them the lines .. or type or words are not centred or off the edges of the 4 x 6 print even though they look Ok on the screen in Photoshop (as in centred)
I start with a 4x6 canvas and print borderless .. any idea what I might be doing wrong?
Cheers .. PS. I also seemed to have this happen on my Canon pixma
I tend to make the overlays smaller than usual because I choose the borderless option too. I usually make the frames smaller on the photo to get the adjustment correct.
