Projects In Progress

Looking around my office today I see:

  1. Christmas/December Daily products that need to be put away. My plan is to go through it and weed out things I'll likely never use and have a nice stack of things ready to go for next season.

  2. Project Life for the last few weeks that needs to be tackled. I'll be waiting to do my 2013 intro page until I receive the Seafoam kit (hoping that becomes available this weekend). I've already started collecting stuff for this week and ordered a new We R Memory Keepers album. I've also got a spread in progress for Studio Calico's Day By Day workshop.

  3. One Little Word project for February in-progress. Registration is still open if you're interested in joining that journey. Details here.

  4. A layout for Technique Tuesday's Studio AE blog hop coming up this Thursday. You can check out this month's stamp set here.

  5. Taxes. Ah, yes, good times.

  6. CHA schedule. Katie and I are heading to Anaheim this weekend to attend the Craft & Hobby show. I'll be in the Technique Tuesday booth on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 1pm-5pm. If you're attending the show stop by and say hi and check out all the new stamps. Looking forward to checking out all the new stuff and getting the chance to see so many people I care about in one place.

  7. Piles on the floor of products to be put away and looked through and inspired by.

Lots to do. Lots to be thankful for.

Here's to a great 2013!

Glad to have you back! I've been down and out with the flu for a few days, just getting back to life, and nice to see lots of inspiration on your blog as always! Happy 2013!

All the way to the right in your pic, I looked quickly and thought it was a wine fridge and thought "Ali's a genius and that's the clue to her creativeness"...then upon closer inspection I realized it was only a paper holder...thanks for the laugh today.

Is CHA open to the public? I have a cousin living in CA and she really, really wants to attend!

HI Ali! Your space is so inspiring and what you do too! I am looking for safe storage for photos and things from the kids that I wont put into scrapbooks such as certificates etc. Do you have any recommendations? I have been looking around and have found quite a few museum quality type boxes etc. But I'm wondering if you have any insight for me? Thanks a bunch!

What do you do when your whole year of Project Life won't fit in the album???? I really wanted to keep the whole year together in the same book...any suggestions?

Always love seeing your creative space. Is that a cafeteria tray trolley to the right?! Brilliant. I'm in my studio tonight cleaning/purging/organizing...and was brainstorming a way to organize 'in progress' projects and layouts. They always end up in multiple stacks around my drawing table and floor. This is a GENIUS solution. (not that I can run right out to Target or even Ikea and get a tray trolley...:) But it gets me thinking...

HA! I love the abundant feeling a cluttered craft room gives you!
