Project Life 2013 | Week Eight

Welcome to Project Life | Week Eight.

I'm feeling a renewed energy around here. Maybe it's packing up and cleaning out the office for the new floors, maybe it's the start spring (even if mainly just by the calendar), maybe it's an attitude adjustment, maybe it's just the passage of time.

Whatever it is it feels darn good and I'm going with it.

I'm hoping that I don't go so long between posting my spreads again. I've got five weeks either completed or in progress that I'll be sharing over the course of the next week. They are just about all done, including last week and most of this week.

Here's Week Eight:

The "hello" word art on the bottom left photo is from my "Banner Me Vol. 1" set. I also used this same set (the word "life") on the second page, last photo in the middle, with the Silhouette.

That lovely "grow where you are planted" card is from a previous Studio Calico Project Life kit.

"This is Life" (from the Just Awesome set) was stamped onto Dear Lizzy vellum with Staz On ink.

"Notes" Journal Card is from My Mind's Eye.

The stickers for "yes" are from BasicGrey but I can't locate the sheet that they came from (that same sheet includes the orange letter stickers I used here). I think it's from Hipster.

The Take Note journal card is from My Mind's Eye.

"This Day" word art cut with the Silhouette.

Here's a tutorial to teach you how to trace my PNG word art files with the Silhouette software.

That adorable little "loved" cardstock element is from Dear Lizzy's Lucky Charm collection.

Here's a closer look at the middle journal card that includes use of my "For The Love Of Days" set. I cut the Friday file with the Silhouette, added the letter stickers and some spray ink and then added my journaling on top. I've got a tutorial for working with this particular set and the Silhouette here.

Chipboard flowers cut in half and added on top of the photo.

Like you, my Catholic education experience really impacted my life. I have so many dear friends and rich experiences as a result. I hope the same for little Anna too!

Ali, I am planning to by silhouette, and I asked myself "Does Ali have one? If not, it is not necessary because Ali is the scrap queen and she knows what is good..."
And now I am reading this post where you mentioned silhouette many times! Thanks for the instructions to use it!

Aren't moms the best? Mine just got home from six weeks of snowbirding in Arizona and I missed her like crazy! It's amazing how much better I feel with her around. :)
