Reader Submissions | AE Products in Use

Katie and I love seeing what you guys are creating using products I design for Designer Digitals and Technique Tuesday.

Here's some reader submissions we've received recently:

Shelly's Creations used some of my digital designs with the Silhouette to create this cool box for her craft room. Check out her post here that shows some updates she's made to her craft room.

Products used include Hello Heart 3x4, Hello Life Vol. 4, and Hello Life Vol. 3.

Lisa Lacy e-mailed this fantastic 365 project she did using my Hello Life Boxes.

Click here to watch a quick video of her completed album.

FROM LISA LACY | I opened all the files (Mon-Sun) and saved it to one page in Photoshop Elements as a maximum quality JPEG file on a USB stick. I don't own a large format printer. I supplied my own paper (white 12x12 inch scrapbook quality cardstock) and got a local printing company to print them for me from the saved file on the usb. I kept the week to one page for two reasons; cost and only wanting one album. The photo's are dropped into two Photoshop Elements files and printed at home

This was very easy to keep up with, I never had to play catchup. I used each day like a daily diary. I kept the page and black pen in a plastic folder on my bedside table all year so I wouldn't forget. About 90% of the photo's were taken using my iPhone.

FROM JEN KOTAS | I have printed several different digital products onto ink jet transparencies. I should have enough to last through the year and may add more as I go along. I am not doing anything fancy really since I have cancer and am going through chemotherapy right now. Having these ready and easy to print is adding a little extra touch to my album. I don't have the time or energy for time consuming details so these digital products have been perfect and the transparencies just make it a little more interesting.

Above Jen is using my 2013 Date Stamps and Days And Months Memory Circles printed onto ink jet transparencies.

We love seeing things made with my products! Feel free to send along projects you've created using Ali's products to Katie at katie@aliedwards.com.

Thank you for sharing this, specifically Lisa Lacy's example. I've thought that one page a week was probably more appealing to me for the same reasons she stated, and am glad to see one person's take on that!

i have a quick question. what kind of mat do you use on your table when you are scrapping? i have i new addition to my laundry room for scrapbooing, and i do not want to get anything on my new counters. i have looked at several and they are very exspensive. wondered which one and whether it is worth the money!thanks in advance!

Hi Tonya - I purchased that mat online. It's a self-healing cutting mat that I ordered to the size of the top of my table - if I remember right (and I'm not 100% positive) I purchased it from here: http://www.cutting-mats.net/
