Katie's Project Life 2013 | Week 14

Welcome to Katie's Project Life 2013 | Week 14 .

April has come and gone already--how did that happen so fast?

I think my favorite stamp set ever of Ali's is the Just Awesome Tabs. They seem to fit perfectly everywhere. I used Brilliance Pigment Archival ink in Gold Galaxy + the "Remember This" stamp from the set to add a little something extra to the Seafoam date card. That ink has a nice metallic finish to it.

The journal cards in the middle are from Kaleidoscope 12X12 Composition & Color and Notes 12X12 Composition & Color by Allison Kreft for Webster's Pages.  I added the "You are awesome" to the card on the right. It is from Dear Lizzy's Lucky Charm 'Bits' Die Cut Cardstock Pieces.

The 4x6 card on the bottom left is from Elle's Studio. Loving the colors from their new line Serendipity.

I added Ali's Banner Me Vol. 01 banners to a few of the pictures this week. I printed them all out on white cardstock and cut them out a few weeks ago. I keep them in my drawer for quick and easy access when I need a simple embellishment.

This is the week we moved some things back into the office. We started to get all of our things situated into drawers. It was so fun to start setting up my own space!

I started some yard work over the weekend. It's always a big task! Our backyard has over 20 large trees, so there is a lot to clean up from the winter.  I'm going to try really hard to stay on top of it over the summer! I really want to try to be outside more and I know that will happen if the yard looks nice.

I wanted to play around with Gold Zing, because I love it. So I just created a simple 4x6 journal card out of white cardstock and an arrow from Kelly Purkey's stamp set Instalove.

IDEA | Cut out Ali's Circle Messages Vol. 02 on the Silhouette and cut the paper down to 3x4 size to be slipped into a pocket.

Hi Katie. I think you need to do a hair tutorial. Every time I see your pics I have hair envy. But, seriously- what do you put in it?! It always looks so volumous!

On another note, I love your pl. it's looking great and it looks like you are enjoying the process so far.

      Hi Krista!
Thanks for your kind words :)

I don't do too much my hair. I have really thick hair, which helps with the volume!
Two products I use almost everyday are Batiste dry shampoo (even if I have just washed my hair) it gives volume and makes it more manageable.
The other is Moroccan oil. I put it on after I get out of the shower and then a little bit again after I have styled my hair to help with flyaways.

      Hi Libbi,
We aren't sure which discount code you mean. If you can let us know which one you are talking about we can check for you!

      Thanks!
      Katie

The discount code would apply to a purchase I would make. I want to order some of her flair buttons.

As far as we know she doesn't have a discount code she is offering through us right now. We were wondering if you were talking about a specific code you had seen on a post here (maybe in the archives)...if you had seen a specific one we would be happy to see if it's still valid.
