Project Life 2013 | Week 16 (Studio Calico May Project Life Kit)
Welcome to Project Life 2013 | Week Sixteen (April 15-21).
Each month during 2013 one of my Project Life weeks will be using the Studio Calico Project Life kit.
You can check out all the new kits for May (called Planetarium) over at Studio Calico here: Scrapbook Kit | Project Life Kit | Card Kit.
I still need to post Weeks 14-15. You'll see those sometime next week.
Here's a closer look:
For the date card this week I used a large heart punch (the pink one from Marvy) and added the BasicGrey transparent geotags with small silver brads.
One of my favorite things this month was adding a 10x8 inch insert that detailed our weekend (reflections came from this blog post).
On top of the text I added the three 3x4 journal cards for "morning, afternoon, evening" - each one was trimmed and taped to the journaling.
On the back I added three other journal cards + a couple letter stickers from American Crafts. After everything was in place I ran it through my sewing machine
And the right side of the spread:
My other favorite thing this month is those tiny gold stars. Love, love, love them. I used the Martha Stewart glue pen to adhere them.

I'm not even going to pretend as though I didn't have an out of body experience seeing journaling cards of mine in one of your Project Life spreads. I'm a total dork like that.
You crack me up. I'm a fan of you.

I have just finished working on my project life this evening and I was wondering do you worry that by the time you have finished Project Life for the year that you will be able to close the binder rings. I know that when I get to the month of June I start to look and hope that the page protectors and photos plus any add on's will all fit in one binder. My previous years have all been a close fit !
I've used three albums per year so far. Each one holds 4 months.

Love seeing your PL pages especially how you used the one little bird's cards from the SC PL kit.. Off to see if she sells those digitally. Great inspiration ! Thanks.

Great idea for an insert... It's really different with the journalling cards at the top and adds quite a bit of interest! I really like how your spread turned out!

What font did you use for the word "George" on his picture?
It's a letter sticker from BasicGrey (not via the computer).
