10 Things Right Now | Anna

Watching Magic School Bus, Jake and The Neverland Pirates, Barbie Life In The Dreamhouse (3 minute episodes found on Youtube.)

Loving Charlie and Lola books - she checked out 5 of them at the Library last week.

Wanting to go swimming everyday, even when it's not sunny.

Eating string cheese, nectarines (she ate 3 last night), broccoli, apple juice, shrimp (I broiled shrimp the other night and she ate 16 of them).

Playing with Barbies, Strawberry Shortcake dolls, Playmobil people.

Singing to Taylor Swift (she requests it when she rides in Katie's car), 5 little monkeys, her own songs she makes up.

Asking "Is tomorrow a school day?" And if the answer is "no" she immediately asks if she can sleep in my bed.

Negotiating with Simon about what movie to watch. Sometimes they take turns, and sometimes they just need to come to an agreement (we call it "compromise").

Wearing dresses + leggings almost everyday.

Looking forward to spending some time at the beach with her cousins and Grandma and Grandpa this week.

She is so adorable. She always has that look like she might be up to no good. I was like that as a kid!

I remember when you posted her pictures as a baby...that sunshiny little smile lifted spirits. So glad it continues. Must be the nectarines!

This is such a great journaling idea. Love the pony tails and the fact that she loves swimming, just like her Mom.

My son is 13 so I just made a list of 13 things right now. How wonderful to be able to remember these things years from now.

Oh, I love everything that Lauren Child writes! If you haven't read "Who's Afraid of the Big, Bad Book?" or "The Princess and The Pea" they are fantastic! Also, she illustrated a newer version of Pippi Longstocking which is wonderful when Anna gets a bit older. Just had to spout about Lauren! Thanks for sharing!!!
