Project Life 2013 | Week Twenty-Five

Welcome to Project Life 2013 | Week Twenty-Five (June 17 - June 23).

Worked. Packed. Drove kids to the coast. Dinner with Aaron, Katie & Peter. Attended the Your Story Retreat in Gearheart, Oregon. Said goodbye to Lily.

Great little plastic initial accents from BasicGrey that were included in the Roundabout Scrapbook Kit from Studio Calico. Stapled with a Tiny Attacher.

The "you are here" circle is from Simple Stories Urban Traveler Chipboard set (super cute elements on there).

Orange label sticker on top of the "living in the moment" card is from Kelly Purkey.

Added the "heart today" from my Everyday Life Outline Banners and the "proof" circle from my Photo Circle Messages set.

This was my third year attending Your Story. I go as a teacher but really I go because I love the experience and I learn new stuff every single time - the sharing, the stories, the women who come to connect and learn and grow. The truth is that I also go because it challenges me. This is an event where we talk about the real stuff of our lives and the way we make sense of those things via words and photos and art.

I added the word "story" from a Dear Lizzy Charm Bits package to the Gearheart coaster. I've been waiting for just the right time to use that one.

This time for the art portion we played with watercolors (taught by Kelly Barton) and took self-portraits (taught be Vivienne McMaster). So awesome. I cut up one of my watercolor pages (the art we did) and wrote on it as a journal card.

I also included a simple little tribute to Lily girl. Letter stickers from Tim Holtz and American Crafts.
