Project Life 2013 | Week Twenty-Two (Includes May Day In The Life)

Welcome to Project Life 2013 | Week Twenty-Two (May 27- June 2).

Remember when I recently shared that layout I'd put together for the PBS TV show Scrapbook Soup? This is the other project that will be featured on a second segment this fall.

This is also another example where I repeated the same theme for the journal cards throughout the week.

This time I used 3x4 grid cards + metal rimmed circle tags + orange ink + Big Day stamp set from Technique Tuesday + Just Awesome Stamp Set + silver ink.

I used Tim Holtz scissors to cut each of the metal rimmed circle tags.

Love that cohesive look for variety from time to time in my album.

All patterned paper included this week is from Die Cuts With A View Snapshot Paper Stack.

This week also included my May Day In The Life insert and some information about Simon's Outdoor School that I added after the taping.

The insert is 6x12. To create it I used a Day In The Life layered template set. This month I decided to repeat and rotate the large photo + May title.

The back side is a collage of photos gathered together using my Day In The Life Photo Collage set.

Love everything, but I'm especially inspired to make some of my own date cards with the kit papers.

Lovely!! I love the orange ink you used for the tags! And I love that while this is still Project Life, it clearly shows how different it can look when personalized. Not a bit of the kit is used.

The matching journalling cards look great! Can I ask where you get the metal tags from? I've had a lot of trouble finding them here in Aus, and I want them for my spice jars!

Most of the time I get them at office supply stores (or order from Amazon).

Ali, l know this is a big call.......but l think this could be one of your best PL layouts yet! I'm a sucker for uniform colour palate and l love how you wove together a theme for the week (ie celebrate) together with all of your weekly activities.
    Simply divine.

[…] Something I love to do every once in awhile with Project Life is to use all those 3×4 card sposts to record something each day of the week. This is made super easy with all the day of the week products available (stamps, stickers, etc). You can see another example of this technique here: PL 2013 | Week 22. […]
