Scrapbook Soup Episode 301-4

AE_PL2013_WK22_closeup1-500x333

Today I want to share the second Scrapbook Soup episode I filmed with Julie Fei-Fan Balzer earlier this year.

Here is a link to the original post I did about this spread of Project Life (includes images), as well as a supply list.

Loved being a part of this and hope to be able to do it again!

So cool...love hearing how Ali thinks in designing her pages! I am a newbie to PL, which has added another level of excitements and change to my scrapping. Thanks for sharing this!

Hi Ali. Thank you for this little clip. I just finished the Project Life Lessons class at BPC and it was so great to hear those ladies talk through their process for doing their weekly spreads. Sometimes just seeing the spreads is not enough to know what is going on. But listening to them speak, hearing their heart and understanding why and how they do what they do was very helpful for me. The same is true of this video of yours. I have been following you for years and seeing your PL pages is wonderful, but hearing you talk your way through them is even better. I love the passion that you bring to this craft. Blessings to you...

I really enjoyed this! I love seeing you "in action" and I love the tip about using the metal circles...I've had them in my stash for ages & will now use them at last! Thanks!

Hi Zara - I was not able to see it on my phone but am able to see it on my computer. You might need to be on a computer (vs. a phone or ipad) to view this one.

This is great. I've looked at your PL pages so often but it never sank in that you are organizing them with the photos on the 4x6 pockets and journaling in the middle. You would think that was obvious but apparently not. Seeing multiple pages laid out and hearing you explain the process is so helpful in understanding your approach. Thanks.

Fun - I haven't caught many of these episodes this year (it used to be on my DVR & somehow got erased from the lineup). I like the idea of grabbing a few page protectors & leaving them out on the desk rather than having the whole album out. I'll have to try that & get back into Project Life.
