2013 Holiday Card

AE_MINTED_CARD

I love holiday cards. I love sending them and I love receiving them from friends and family. December is such a happy mail month around here.

For the past couple years I have done my holiday cards through Minted and have really loved how they've turned out.

This year they have debuted their new line of foil pressed holiday cards.

I decided to go with this design because I love the simplicity of it, and that gold foil rocks.

Love how it shines.

They have also recently released personalized wrapping paper which would be awesome for Christmas or other gift-giving times of the year.

Check out how I incorporated my holiday cards into my previous December Daily™ albums here and here.

I'm getting excited for the holiday season and all that it entails.

Bring on the merriment!

I love minted and this was also my favorite design this year. I make my cards but sometimes I wish I could use one of these designs.

Your card is perfection. Honestly, you have such an amazing eye for design and the photo is lovely. I do wish people in this country sent this kind of card, I'd love to receive them. Maybe I should start a trend...

Such an awesome and simple card :)

I'm not even remotely organised enough to have started thinking about cards beyond picking up stamps!

Look how little they were in those past Christmas cards! I just love the idea of photo cards and have been doing it since my eldest was born. Perfection.

Ali - how did you handle the Christmas cards the first year you were divorced? I'm recently divorced and there are people who don't know. I was just going to send a card with my name and the kids names (not the usual letter) and let people figure it out, but I received advice from a friend to get the cards out the day after Tgiving and just put it out there in the letter in a very short and matter of fact way, and then people can respond in their cards or at least address the cards to me so they don't get forwarded. Just curious if you don't mind sharing. I'm still feeling very ashamed and embarrassed and just want this first set of holidays to be over.

Hey Betsy - I'm so sorry I missed your question last month! I'm pretty sure I just sent out a card with the kids photo and a short personal message from me with nothing to do about divorce. I don't send very many cards so I'd venture to say that everyone who received a card was aware. There's nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about Betsy - take of yourself this year - it will be okay. Trust me.
