December Daily™ 2013 | Day Nineteen

Welcome to December Daily™ 2013 | Day Nineteen.

Just a heads up that my posts between now and Christmas day might not be as regular as they have been the last 19 days - it's family time!

Thank you for being here this year and for sharing your own work along the way.

Here's a look at Day 19:

Last night was the Christmas concert. We weren't sitting close enough (and I don't have a zoom lens) to get any different shots which was totally fine. I love seeing all those little kids together up there on the stage.

Katie snapped the other shot of Anna in her outfit for the concert (she was a sheep with black gloves for her "hooves"). She was super into her outfit and the singing - pretty much the whole thing.

I loved adding the sequins and stars to Day 10 and decided to do it again with the enlarged photo. Machine stitching along the top keeps it in place.

Word art on the photo is from my #Christmas set.

On the opposite side of the spread I've got two, 3x4 pockets and a 4x6 pocket.

The top left pocket is a transparent piece with starbursts stapled and adhered (I talked more about this on my Foundations post). I also stapled a #19 circle onto this one.

In the right pocket is the Joy To The World card with washi tape around the edges and another starburst/enamel dot added to the "o" in Joy.

Personality. Love it.

Pen on the photo is a Precision Pen from American Crafts.

Beautiful! Enjoy your time with family. This will be my first Christmas away from home, so I'm already starting to feel a little blue.

Yay for family time!!! Ali, take all the time you need and enjoy that beautiful family of yours. Merry Christmas!

P.s. - I think about my one little word "STRONG" ALL.THE.TIME. And I already know what mine will be in 2014...BRAVE. If not for your inspiration, this little bit of positive self-talk might not have found found its way into my brain and frankly, I need it. Thank you for being you. :)

WOW!! This is hands down my favorite page so far, LOVE IT!! How fun for you to see her at this age and all the excitement inside her. That long photo of all the kids is wonderful, I rarely can get good shots at the kids concerts, glad you got these!

Enjoy the slowing down and family time, doing the same here. Thank you Ali for another wonderful year of you and all that you do and share!! Such a blessing you are!!
