Studio AE Blog Hop from Technique Tuesday | February 2013

Welcome to the February 2013 Studio AE Blog Hop from Technique Tuesday!

February's stamp (one of my personal favorites) is called Super Fantastic:

This stamp set is a combination of a couple other digital sets that you can grab here: So Totally Love This, Words Of Beauty, Awesome Script Words, Say Yes. These are all currently on sale over at Designer Digitals during their 30% off sale through next Wednesday.

Here's the layout I created using this stamp set:

Katie took this photo the other day when everyone was home from school. Love seeing moments like this between them.

This was my first time using Fiskars ProCision Rotary Trimmer - so far so good.

For this layout I wanted to create a patterned text background using the new stamp set. To do this, rather than stamp each sentiment individually, I laid out the stamps on a large acrylic block.

The pattern paper I stamped on is from a 6x6 paper pad that was included in Studio Calico's Front Row Card Kit. I'm using ColorBox chalk ink for this project.

I totally love these Studio Calico Phrases Sundrifter Wood Veneer pieces. I may over-use them. I use Glossy Accents to adhere the wood veneer pieces.

The enamel dots came in the Studio Calico Front Row Scrapbook Kit (manufactured by My Mind's Eye).

Blue dot pattern paper is from BasicGrey's new Hey You collection.

The folded over card is from the Seafoam Project Life kit (there's nothing on the inside but I liked the added dimension of the folded card). I added a "super favorite" stamp along the bottom.

The "#2" is a paper clip from Studio Calico.

Here's a look at the full layout again:

The background pattern paper for this layout is from My Mind's Eye The Sweetest Thing Collection (the other side is a doily pattern).
