Spring Break Guest | Kelly Purkey
While on vacation this week we've invited a few of our friends to share their favorite layout of all time + why it is so special to them.
Say hello to Kelly Purkey.
When thinking about my favorite layout of all time, this is the first one that came to mind. I love this layout for so many reasons, starting with the fact that it puts a huge smile on my face. I am incredibly lucky to get to travel for work + fun and even more fortunate that I am able to spend time with wonderful friends on all around the world.
In 2010 I traveled throughout the country and it was documented on this layout. I made the page when I was on the Studio Calico design team and used one of the kits, including patterned paper I had designed for the kit. I have also blogged a tutorial on how I created the map and how you can create a custom map of your own.
It was such a good year for me and I am thankful to have a layout that wraps up so many things I love in life - family, friends, food, and travel adventures.

I absolutely LOVE THIS!!! The highlight of my military career has been the opportunity to travel and go to places I might not have otherwise seen had it not been for my job. I will retire in a couple months and I LOVE the idea of scraplifting this to document the last 20 years and the highlights of where I've been. Great idea...Thank you!!!
