A new trip = a new Scrapbook on the Road

Img_6855

Doing all the last minute stuff that goes into getting ready to leave home : including finishing up a column and putting together a new Scrapbook on the Road album for this trip. If you have no idea what I am talking about, check out my Studio A column in the March issue of Creating Keepsakes. This time I am using a 7gypsies tag book.

Airplane paper is from Sugartree. Transparency is Art Warehouse. Word stickers are 7gypsies and the circle plane rub on is from Basic Grey.

Looking forward to adding in lots of bits and pieces from this adventure. Such a great way to record the trip while I am actually on the trip.

In other news: My sister Jessica and Jeffrey were here today on their way down to visit my parents. Loved seeing them. We walked around downtown Eugene a bit. Did a little shopping at the Nike Store (this is the birth place of Nike don'tcha know?) and other shops at 5th Street Public Market. They bought Simon a couple new trains - he is in love of course - and then we met up with my parents and lunch at a local place called Mucho Gusto. Tasty.

Back to packing and scrapping. Leaving early in the morning...hope you all have a great week!

Peace.

I just got my March CK and I had to say that I loved your book! Absolutely beautiful...and I love your mom's as well. I might just have to take a trip so that I could make myself a Road Trip book!

    Hi Ali,
Just wondered if you can tell us what to expect at your Backstage Party at CKC-Portland in March. Hope your trip to the Netherlands is awesome!

Hey Ali, ever since we did that tag book with you in Irvine (CA) I got inspired to do a few of my own- I loved the transparency on the cover but wanted something more personal... so I printed lots of (applicable) words onto a blank transparency and cut it to the correct size! I LOVED it.
    All the best,
    Brooke

    Hi Ali,
I have a REALLY DUMB question - how do you cover an album / tag book that is already bound together - and then put it back together so it looks like it was made like that?????
