Cocoa Daisy January Kits...

are now available here. You can also get an autographed copy of my book A Designer's Eye for Scrapbooking with Patterned Paper from Cocoa Daisy here.

UPDATE: the kits have sold out. Tricia has started a waiting list - email her at mailbox@cocoadaisy.com to be placed on the list.

And here's what I created using the products from the January kit:

And the second miniBOOK - created using a piece of chipboard (cut with the Creative Memories wavy cutter) and a bunch of wonderful transparencies from My Mind's Eye. This is my favorite thing I have created in awhile:

I just love these books, and i'm usually not a paper scrapper at all! I love paper ephemera, and do tons of crafts, though.
Could you maybe point me in the right direction to learn how to put one of these transparency albums together? Specifically, what grade of transparency, ie: how thick is it? And is there an adhesive that works better than others on this slick plastic? I'd love to know what you used to tape the outer edges of transparency, and lastly, do you have a quick tut or something on how to bind it?
    Just about everything, basically! LOL
I'm participating in two goodie exchanges this month, and I've NEVER done one before. My partner for one is incredibly talented, has a handmade paper boutique! So, I've gotta do something unique that she might not have seen in the past for the piece de resistance to the basket. This book would be ideal as she's getting married soon, so she could use a lil wedding brag book...and she just got engaged in Paris! And I just created a digital kit of vintage parisian goodies, so that will be perfect for elements!
I know you're extremely busy, but if you could push me in the right direction I'd be ever so grateful! You can reach me at orachel54@yahoo.com.
I've got a lovely list of design resources, all digital, all free. Great stuff for photoshop, artistic brushes/textures/actions..that sort of stuff. I'd love to send it to you to thank you for your response to my myriad questions.
I'll reply with the list to the email you send with info, assuming you have an opportunity to send me the info. If not, no biggie!
Just astounding work. I subscribed to your newsletter for pure inspiration! LOL
    Thanks!
