The Monday post.
Hello Monday.
I had a wonderful little adventure up to Bonney Lake, Washington for a class at Ben Franklin. Thanks to everyone who came and donated - the event raised over $1600 for Autism Speaks. This store has an amazing selection of scrapbooking supplies - definitely worth a road trip if you are in driving distance.
One of the best things about the weekend was getting to drive up with Paolo and Simon and stay with Paolo's sister and her family who happen to live right near the store. It was so great to just hang out with Paolo's family, have a BBQ, and just be together. He's got such a cool collection of siblings and nieces and nephews.
We also got to stop for a quick visit with John, Liz & Henry. John made lunch, Simon & Henry played chase, Liz relaxed, and Paolo and I took some product shots for some new products Liz has been creating. Being there always really makes me wish we lived closer...
Here's a random list of things I want to share today:
1. Photojojo's Mother's Day Gift Guide.
2. Crop Out Cancer event in Eugene - August 8-10th at Valley River Inn (benefiting the American Cancer Society). Email Lindsey for more information.
3. Someone I am praying for and sending positive thoughts.
4. An online scrapbooking store to check out.
5. The other day in the comments there a was a link to an organizational program called Things. It's task management for the Mac and I am loving the trial version.
6. Inspired by this idea.
Keep him that little as long as you can! Have a great week!

I'd love to hear more about your experience with Things after you've had a chance to use it for awhile. I've been using it for a month now and while sometimes it works better than others, I'm enjoying having a sense of peace knowing that all the little things I need and want to do have been written down somewhere. I can get to them if and when I choose without that stressful nagging in the back of my head, "Don't forget this; don't forget that..."

Ali--did you see that the winner of Big Brother on Sunday night said he is going to donate $100,000 to autism cause? I believe he works with autistic kids.

Hi Ali, I saw that you mentioned Jeni Ballantyne in your post. I wasn't sure if you knew or not, but there is an ebay auction (http://stores.ebay.com/bloggers-for-Jeni) to raise money for her and her son. It runs until Friday. Thanks. :)
