    Hi Ali!
It's important to me to document memories for my autistic son, he's getting ready for 7th grade, and has made honor roll, Beta Club and has various academic awards.
I dont want him to ever forget how proud we are of his accomplishments, and how far he has come with regards to dealing with his ASD.
Thanks for the chance to win!

I've only really been scrapbooking for 4 years, but I've made albums and kept memories all my life. This saturday one of my childhood friends is getting married and I went trough my old albums and all my envelopes of scraps and cut outs. I found a lot of old memories and I'm so thankful that I have saved it all. I love that today, I can share it with my friend and remember everything we've shared.

My favorite part is recording the crazy things my three-year-old says. I know we will all forget if I don't write it down and record it in a way that honors it (i.e. not on scraps of junk paper that will just get lost or tossed).

    Ohhh I'm the first one!
I would have to say,as a busy mom, my favorite thing right now about keeping memories has to be the fact that when I finally get the chance to document them, they are extra special... finding that lost hour of creative time is ohh so precious.....

My favorite thing right now is seeing how excited my boys are when they look at the pages I have done. They are thrilled to have pages to look at in the album and read what I have recorded about our life. That is what keeps me scrapbooking!

Hi Ali - the most important thing for me right now is to live in the moment and not try to pre-plan what photos or events I might try to document. I am reminded by my young daughter how little things can make as large a statement as the "special" things I hope to capture in memory-keeping. Time flies so fast & summer is half over now. Little moments can make a big impact too.

Journaling is still nr 1 thing as far as memory keeping.I just got the diagnose that I have ADHD myself and that made a lot of things fall into place for me. I like to document what I am going through right now and also why I can't do certain things so my kids will hopefully understand me more as they grow up.
    love the kits!

My most important thing for memory making is the friends I have made from this amazing craft. You meet the most inspiring, talented people with the kindest of hearts (and I like to think these people crossed your path for a reason).

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now, is bringing smiles to those dear to me by making them a treasured gift of shared memories.

My favorite thing is watching my 19 year old daughter and 14 year old son look back over their old albums. A second favorite would be using old supplies for card making.

    hi ali
my favourite thing about memory keeping at the moment is having my 6yr old daughter creating next to me while im doing my own thing. she loves using techniques that im using - like if i pick up a corner rounder she will pick it up a couple of minutes later and use it on her own layout too.Its also helping her use her new found writing and spelling skills as she has started school this year. the most important thing though is she is learning about recording the memories, and keeping those memories fresh for the future.
    cheers

    Ali,
I am in a place right now where I am growing each day and learning how to move past some illnesses, both emotionally and physically. It is important to me to document those rough days and then to document the little triumphs. Because of memory keeping, I am more likely to see those little triumphs and I love reviewing the pages/books I make almost daily. It's been very therapeutic for me and my family. I love/love/love your work and want to thank you so much for all the inspiration! You are a great teacher.

My favourite thing right now is looking back on completed work. My son is 3.5 and he gets so excited to see baby pictures of himself. It really makes me glad that I documented things as much as I did.

My favorite things to record are the little, everyday things that don't seem "big" at the time, but when looked back on are what shape one's lives!

I don't know...it's kind of selfish. I love the feeling I have when I touch and look at my photos of family, friends and experiences. I have a total sense of peace within me watching my great niece (9)and great nephew (7) go thru their albums and mini books. Journaling is hard for me, so when I go back and read what I have written it's very emotional and makes me both happy and content that I have found something in my life to express what I want to say even after I am gone.

My favorite thing about memory keeping is seeing how I evolve. How bad I was feeling a couple of months ago and how I evolved and became my happy me again.

I have to say that you, Ali, have really influenced me a lot lately ... so I have to say the photos + words are the most important thing. I want to remember everything (especially since I have just had my last baby .... I don't want to forget the smell of their skin, the softness of their hair, the little sighs they make in their sleep). It will be a while before I have grandkids! LOL!

my favorite thing about memory keeping right now is catching simple, everyday thoughts and feelings for my daughter to have when i am too old to remember them. the honest, real things - how i feel about politics and cupcakes and religion and my favorite pair of shoes. no rhyme or reason necessary - just thoughts on paper.

Right now, I think that it's getting those memories that I have about loved ones from my childhood, so that my children will know more about me and my memories.

My favorite thing about memory keeping right now is all of the possibilities there are available to me. I just found out about a website with software that can make your blog into a book (with photos, of course)! Or hybrid templates so many digital shops are selling right now. Or that now I finally seeing things beyond their original intent and letting myself take an altoid tin beyond storage for mints to a tin that I can put buttons on and hide a mini-album in. :)
