Three Things : Wish List

Threethings

Most weeks three things tend to be products I have around here, things I have tried and loved or been inspired by. This week I am bringing you three things that are in my shopping cart that I am planning to order, try out + play with.

1. Autumn Leaves inks. There has been positive buzz on internet message boards recently about these inks. I am always on the lookout for good inks (my favorites tend to be from the little cats eye chalk inks + a few colors from Stampin Up - especially an old cranberry that I think was retired). Also just noticed that these inks are listed at 50% off on Two Peas.

2. Fiskars Threading Water Punch. Another tool I have seen mentioned lately is this one from Fiskars. I love scallops and I love circles and I think I am most excited to play with this one of the three.

3. Red Banner Die-Cut Paper from Creative Imaginations. I like die cut papers like this one with nice points and lines for journaling. The point can be used as a directional design device and the lines are great for keeping my journaling in line. Most of the time I have found that I like to cut sheets like this in half and use one on one layout and the other half on another (or on the second page of a two page spread as seen below).

I stalked Target until I found the threading punch. Love it. I order some of ink, but they were already out of the aqua blue. Thanks for
    the heads up. Jess

That punch is on my wish list. :) I watched the demo on the Fiskars site and it looks too easy not to have one. Good item ideas this week!

I'm another one who loves my threading water punch. Makes things much easier than hand cutting a scallop edge then using a hole punch & hammer!

hi Ali, love the threading water punch. Hard to get hold of in N.Z. So I borrowed a friend's and spent a few hours playing with white c.s. and various p.p. yesterday.
Hanging out until i can get one of my own.
p.s. love the photo booth pics.

I just bought that punch on Monday! Michael's finally had some in stock and the best part...it was 40% off!! Yea! That paper is so cool. I must find some. Thanks for all your inspiration. Can't wait to see how you use the Threading Water punch on a LO or mini book.

I have actually seen a lot of layouts with the scalloped edges (some with circle cuts) and wished I had a punch to create this look!! That is a great idea to get 2 page layouts with one decorative piece of paper!!!
