Stormtroopers

[ meeting storm troopers prior to marching in the Eugene Celebration parade ]

To the bus driver as he boarded yesterday morning: "Shelia! Shelia! Guess what? The earth is moving!"

To us: "I am going to have a sister and her name is Cousin Lucy."

[ And just to clarify, Lucy is the name of Simon's cousin. His sister will have a different name. He just likes her so much that he wants her to have the same name. It has become a game for him + he laughs so hard when he tells us this will be his sister's name. ]

Too cute - and I like Simon's choice for his new sister much better than my little boy's top pick for his: Frenchie.... probably not.

Ali - that pic is cool! I remember when my son met the stormtroopers in Disney...priceless! Isn't is wonderful how much big brothers love "their" baby siblings. Good luck with the name thing!

I love the mini storm trooper. Of course I still have a well loved set of sheets from the first Star War's movie from the last century!

Ha! Reminds me of my little cousin before his sister was born. "Who is she?" We don't know. "What is her name?" We don't know that either. At which point he left, disgusted that his parents would not only bring some stranger into the house, but that they would let her stay, and that they didn't even know who she was.

I just love your kid!!! I do believe if God had not had him destined for you & Chris he was intended to be my 10 year olds little brother!!! He would love all the Legos, clone wars & such laying around my house. Of course my 10 year old would have introduced him to Pokemon by now....
