Three Things : Three Giveaways

Giveaways

A fun Tuesday giveaway:

1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.

2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).

3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).

To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

Walks in the park enjoying the rustle of the leaves.
Pumpkin soup, pumpkin bread, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.
Finding the scarfs and hats so we will be ready when suddenly it isn't fall anymore.

Fall is my favorite time of year. We visit Green Acres Pumpkin Patch in my hometown, carve pumpkins, go to Gentry's Farm for a hayride and corn maze, make smores and roast hotdogs by a bonfire...plus spend lots of time "familying".
Thanks Ali for the great giveaways!

We celebrate fall by going to the cider mill for donuts and cider. We rake piles of leaves and play and have a photo shoot. We have our annual family outing to pick out Halloween costumes. We also go to the corn maze and enjoy haunted hay rides. Fall is one of our favorite seasons.

Oh my gosh, I love fall ... and I celebrate it as much as I can. Fall always makes me want to take a road trip! Last year it was Asheville, NC, this year Ann Arbor, MI. It's an awesome time to throw on a sweatshirt and jeans, grab the camera and hit the road. We always stop at a pumpkin patch and always get fresh cider. We've also done some camping in the fall. Another favorite!

We celebrate fall by driving to one of the biggest farms in San Diego and spend a few hours there - pumpkins, farm animals, mini fair & shopping for unique hand made foods ;)

Our favorite fall tradition is going to the pumpkin farm. We have about 4 great pumpkin farms nearby and we try to hit them all each year!

Here in the U.K. we celebrate fall with Bonfire Night! Plus sparklers & fireworks! Hot jacket potatoes eaten outdoors in the crisp, cold air! Also in our house we have three birthdays to celebrate in the fall!
Love everything that you do, especially your recent Week in the Life project. Until now I have always scrapped events, birthdays, holidays etc., so this has really challenged me to do something different...fantastic!

Fall is my favorite season. As a family we doing many activities to celebrate the fall. We go apple picking and then come home and start baking apple goodies. We go pumpkin picking, too. The kids love raking the leaves and jumping in the piles. And now that we live in New England, we get to experience the beauty of the fall colors every day. We love going out and looking at the trees as they change and become so beautiful!

living in Florida it's a little hard to tell when the fall season arrives. But our traditions involve FSU and Pop Warner football. When we finally do get our first cold snap of the season it's so refreshing to put on our fall clothes...FINALLY!

I live in Florida so we don't get to many seasons down here. I just love when the weather (heat & humidity) cools off and I can open all the windows airing the house out. We also go to Florida State football games and that just smacks of fall down here in Florida.

I can't say I have any specific traditions in the Fall. I did decorate my house with some mums and a corny light up pumpkin. But I haven't picked anything myself. lol I love it though when the weather turns colder, when the leaves start to change. I love sweater weather and corduroy pants! Making soups or chili on the weekends, and starting to look forward to Christmas. :) I guess I pick up the pace of crafting in the Fall as the Summer activities dwindle down.

the local apple orchard / pumpkin patch is a definite tradition in our family. they make the best warm apple cider and we pick up lots of apples, as well as our pumpkins for carving. the hay ride out to the pumpkin patch is so fun!

I like to celebrate fall with my crockpot! When the weather starts getting cold I love to pull out the crockpot to make chili, beef stew, roasts, etc. The house smells so good all day long and what a delicious meal!

I spend my fall watching football with my family. My Dad and I have season tickets to the University of Louisville football games. This is a way for he and I to spend quality time together. This is something that we have done for the last 8 years. Fall to me means warm clothes and quality family time!!!!
