Three Things : Three Giveaways

Giveaways

A fun Tuesday giveaway:

1. Five gift certificates to Songbird Avenue. Here's what's cool about these guys: they are a digital scrapbooking-based online boutique
whose proceeds are donated to various charities each month in an effort
to give compassionately to those in need. Definitely a site to check out and support.

2. One November kit from Stampin With Steph (a Stampin Up independent demonstrator).

3. One November kit (designed by Stacy Julian) for Cocoa Daisy (you will receive this in early November).

To be entered into the drawing leave a comment below and let me know how you celebrate the fall season. Comments will be closed today (Tuesday) at 8pm Pacific and the winners announced shortly after.

    Hey Ali,
We always head to the pumpkin patch, go apple picking, and carve pumpkins. I love to bake with pumpkin and apple so we can enjoy some homecooked desserts. Of course we love taking in the fresh cool air, going for walks, and jumping in piles of leaves! Fall is our favorite season!

Soccer games with large coffee in hand, apple picking with highschool buddies and all our kiddies, contests to find the largest leaf while playing at the park, switching over to flannel sheets and deciding on Halloween costumes.

We celebrate fall in many ways. My favorite is our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. This year we went to a new patch with Grandma and Grandpa and it was so fun. We also enjoy decorating the house with fun (not scary) Halloween decorations and getting together out costumes. We love fall!

Once I live in Brazil, the seasons are not as beautiful as it is in the US or Canadá.

We are a young couple, and are still building our traditions. I always decorate our house with fall flowers, pumpkins, apples, etc. for my husband. We also have pumpkin cookies, muffins and bread. We like driving to Eastern Oregon (where we are from) to enjoy the crisp blue sky and fall colors on country roads.

We got our pumpkins and made a scarecrow, but Manhattan Bagel's pumpkin cream cheese is my favorite part of fall.

Well living in Florida makes the want and the need for Fall to be ever present. I have to say I endulge in many Pumpkin Spice Latte's and make a fair share of Pumpkin Breads and muffins. I love the smell of cinnamon so when I can find the appropriate scent I burn candles. I also use the seasonal pluggin's. An absolute must in my home.
A few years back my best friend and I would rent a cabin in the mountains to honor the fall season as well as our friendship. This was to be a tradition every year, but life sorta got in the way. We managed two years to do this -- and will return to it soon. We walked through the trails, talked about everything, ate lots of food, drank wine and lounged in the hot tub, and graced ourselves with daily massages. Miss that time! filled with cold weather and a good friend.

We start off with a visit to an apple orchard (to meet my friend for pictures!) and at the end of October, our church has a trick-or-treat alternative that I organize. That sums up fall for me! We live in the desert, so we get very little of a "real" autumn season.

To me, fall means COZY. Warm sweaters, snuggly blankets, the scent of pumpkin pie and my favorite drink... warm apple cider. MMMM.

Our fall traditions: apple picking, pumpkin picking - and maybe a college football game. Unfortunately this year my kids felt "too big" or "too cool" to actually pick the apples. I ended up picking them myself. Maybe next year they'll realize you're never too cool to go apple picking!

We celebrate fall by enjoying the cooler weather, riding bikes, and just being outside. In the evenings we pull out the Cocoa motion cocoa maker, and enjoy sipping hot cider, and cocoa. Yum!!

We celebrate fall with a tradition of taking our apples with the kids to have cider made. They get to help pick the apples, load them in the bins at the cider facility, and fill jugs with the finished product. We also have two October birthdays, and along with Halloween, it's just one celebration after another!
