Little Bits of Love: Part One
[ supplies : Little Yellow Bicycle Patterned Paper, Ali Edwards Love Circle Embellishments, Foam Squares, Marvy Uchida Mega Scallop Punch, Bazzill Cardstock ]
A super simple Valentine card using a sheet of cardstock (folded + then corner-rounded), a punched piece of patterned paper (using a scalloped punch - see below for more info), foam squares, and a printed out circle from my new set of Love Circle embellishments for Designer Digitals.
One of the cool things about this product is that it includes digital files (.png in the color scheme shown + files that can be colored and layered) and a pdf file that is all set up and ready for you to print onto cardstock or canvas and punch. It's just right for those of you who have not dabbled in digital scrapbooking yet but may be interested in doing a little bit of hybrid-scrapbooking (using digital products in paper scrapbooking by simply printing them out at home).
Edited: Regarding a question in the comments you can definitely still download these elements without Photoshop. You can open the PDF in any program that opens pdf's and the .png files can be opened and printed in word.
Think about using them for cards or gift tags or for a little minibook. Here's a look at how I punched out the circles from the downloadable pdf file:
The circles measure 2 inches across and can be punched with anything larger. For the scalloped edges I used the Marvy Uchida Mega Scallop Punch (pink body). I also used a McGill 2 1/8 inch circle punch which gave me the white circles around the outside. TIP: turn the punch upside down to be able to see exactly what you are punching out.
Look for a little minibook coming later this week using these circles as well.
Just thought I'd let you know that you forgot the closing parentheses mark.

These might tip me over into buying some digi scrapbooking things. I am really hesitant to do it because a). I haven't a clue how to ACTUALLY do it and b) We don't have those kind of shops over here that print the pages out once they are done. There isn't one stand alone store in Ireland dedicated to scrapbooking. I can't even get a 2" scalloped punch without having to send away for it, LOL.
Having said ALL of that, ;-) I really like those. Hmmmmmmmmm, feeling a purchase coming on :-).
Hope you are feeling good Ali. Still praying for you and your situation regarding your mole mapping results.

I have a question about using your overlays from Designer Digitals. I use PSE 4.0. I flatten the image and I want to save it as a .jpeg but for some reason I can not retrieve it again as a jpeg so that I can print them at my local photo place. ANy suggestions? Maybe you need more information. Let me know. Thanks. Miss Niki
