Lately I've been working on documenting everyday things. I have albums full of our family adventures and outings and now I've turned inward and have been working on a project that more directly shows the workings of our daily life. I'm loving it so far, got some great shots and stories.

I have been working on being a new mother, again. Just welcomed my fourth baby girl into our home in January. It has been a while since I have done the baby thing. I'm relearning the middle of the night feedings, nursing and typing at the same time and learning to let some things go.

For no obvious or apparent reason I have been nesting. I have been cleaning, sorting, purging and thinking about my life being so full that in order to add something new I need to dump something old. Maybe I could just call it Spring Cleaning.

I am working on a birthday party for my 8 year old. She wants to have a silly sock party. Did you know there is a Lost Sock Memorial Day? May 9...who knew? It is going to be a great party.

Not a whole lot for myself, but this week I've designed labels for our church's "Cookies for Teachers" ministry and the cover for a youth brochure.

I am working on finishing my wedding plans, finishing my spring break scrapbook from last year, decluttering my home, finding a new home 1,600 miles away, and getting myself ready to move from North Dakota to Georgia in June.

I have been working on getting my two year old's room decorated and painted. We moved her out of her nursery almost a year ago and it took until recently for me to decide on a theme... lady bugs!!!

I started a new job two weeks ago as a lecturer at a University, the deadline for exams was the Friday before I arrived, so not only have I spent the last two weeks, having to hurriedly prepare a lecture course, but I've just finished writing the exam questions...

This is huge for me, Type A personality. I've been trying to let a little go. I like to have a perfectly manicured home, but lately I've been trying to enjoy life more and be ok with the few dishes undone or the laundry that needs to be folded or the kid's papers on the floor. I have two kids and after years of having a home that my friend's claim looks "unlived" in, I've decided it's time to make some changes. Baby steps right now, but it's coming.

Im working on recording life, not always through scrapbooking, but at least attempting to maintain our family blog, taking, uploading and organising photos, and just trying to appreciate the days as they go past so quickly. My husband is learning how to make his own dvd's from our home movies and photos, and its great to see his creative expressions of life too.

It seems like I am always working on so many things, but right now, I am trying to focus on my photography. Since it is spring and lots of wonderful colors are beginning to pop up, I want to get back to basics, by taking more pictures more often, and am taking Jessica Sprague's self-pace workflow class to refresh myself and get a few of her great pointers and advice.
Outside of crafty goodness, I have a 5mo. old Vizsla puppy that is my constant companion and project. We begin agility at the end of the month and obedience training after that.
    Thanks for the constant inspiration!
