My favorite December tradition is decorating the tree with my family. It is great fun to see the ornaments that we've collected over the years and talk about the memories attached to them.

Every year, my dad and I watch, "It's a wonderful life." It's just a tradition that the two of us do. My siblings have never even seen the entire movie, they just don't appreciate the classics like my dad and me.

One of my favorite traditions is our ROMP (Rotating Overindulgent Moranko Party) It is where on one day we go from family house to family house sharing food and fun at each place. We hae not got to do it in the last year or two due to the ill health of my father in law, but he is doing well and we hope to start it up again!

My favorite Christmas tradition is reading The Jesse Tree together as a family each night after dinner. Then we open our Advent box, take out the candies (one for each person) and read some scripture.

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is delivering cookies (or some other fun treat) to all our neighbors. We've been doing it for years and years and we never plan for enough time. It takes FOREVER. We pull the littler kiddos (we've got 5 kids) in a wagon with the treats and cards and the bigger kids walk and it usually takes all afternoon!
    Thanks for the giveaway!

Picking ONE favorite tradition is much too hard for me!! So I will choose the one we are doing today -- going to get the Christmas tree!! I love picking it out, getting it home and set up, fighting with the lights, and then unwrapping all the ornaments and remembering where they came from or how we got them. Can't wait for tonight!!

Wonderful giveaways - all of them are great, but I'm so loving that Pixie Petals set!!!
Our favorite December tradition is Christmas Eve. Hubby and I have a wonderful, romantic fondue (meat in oil) dinner on the coffee table in front of the fireplace and a good Christmas movie. The fire, candle and the lights of the tree provide a wonderful glow, and a glass or two of wine may also be involved!

We have started a few new traditions these past few years as the kids get a little older. Last year I convinced them to go Christmas Caroling, door to door. I used to do this with my brothers and sisters when I was a kid and wanted to revisit that tradition. For me to get my college kids to do this was amazing. We went on Christmas Eve after church, with another family. It wasn't anything impressive; we just went for it. Tthe response from our neighborhood was great and later that night we found a surprise gift on our doorstep as a "thank you." But the best part was all of the laughs we had in attempting our songs and the surprised looks on people's faces as we came to their doors. The younger children at the houses didn't understand what we were doing but the older people got emotional when they saw us at their doors. I guess it brought back a time past for them too. The other day, my daughter said to me, "I want to do that again." I was pleasantly surprised, so now a new tradition has begun!

Our favorite holiday tradition is picking out an ornament that ties back to something that our family did during the year. It is great fun to review the ornaments from all the previous years as we decorate the tree.

My favorite Christmas tradition is attending the Candlelight Christmas Eve service with my daughters and coming home to ice Christmas cookies. My daughters are now grown and have moved away, but this year will be back here for the holiday.

My favorite of our Christmas traditions is decorating the tree (primarily our children and grandchildren the leaders in the task) on Thanksgiving evening. It's the launch of the season for us.
I love those canvas wrapped gallery prints. They are very beautiful.

My favorite Christmas tradition is helping Dad get all the decorations out of the attic and then happily marching to the living room where we decorate the tree together as a family while listening to classic Christmas carols. Imagine the joy in the faces of my 5, 3, and 2 year olds as we do this! Pure delight!

My favorite Christmas tradition is the advent calendar. Everyday a new surprise waiting for us as a picture, saying, or piece of candy. It spreads Christmas out for the whole month.

My favorite Christmas tradition is going to my in-laws on Christmas day. All the cousins are there and we sit and talk. Other relatives stop by all day long and it's bright and merry and there's always a jigsaw puzzle in progress. So cozy and there's so much love. It's a very relaxing and enjoyable day.

My favorite tradition is going to church on Christmas Eve and singing all of the classic Christmas songs. The service is closed with Silent Night and the lighting of a candle that each person is holding. With the 1000 + candles lit, it is a tearful and breath-taking sight.
Thanks for the opportunity to win!

We make paper snowflakes with the kids and hang them on all of our windows. Now that our daughter can handle scissors well, it's not just me and dad making them!
