More Help For Haiti

Say hello to Myriam.

I first met Myriam a couple years ago when I attended my now annual retreat on the Oregon coast. She is full of life and joy and passion and compassion and when she walks it often looks like she is floating on air.

She has become a very special friend to me over the last few years and I am honored to have the opportunity to help her achieve a dream - a mission that is rooted in bringing joy to others.

Right now Myriam has a really big dream. Her dream is to raise $30,000 and personally deliver the funds to her family's community in Haiti. Haiti is a specific part of Myriam's childhood story and a part of the story of her life. 

Some of my friends have written eloquently about Myriam and her mission. Karen wrote about Myriam and her story here. She included emails that Myriam has written to our group that really hit home in terms of what this is all about.

This is a wonderful opportunity to give directly, to someone with a plan to help in the most intimate way possible: with her own hands, skills, and heart.

In addition, I also participated in a two digital collaboration kits with proceeds going to two specific charities.

The first kit is available now at Designer Digitals and 100% of the proceeds are going to Mercy Corps.

The second kit, which will be available at Songbird Ave on February 1, is a collaboration between 56 digital designers and includes 104 papers, 208 elements, 6 templates and 8 alphabets. Proceeds from the sale of this kit will go to Doctors Without Borders.
