Image created via Wordle.

I spent a couple hours yesterday going back through all the comments listing your one little words and the reasons/thoughts behind them. It's always so cool to see all these words listed together. I am working on a layout for my word this year and hope to share it next week.

Below, the words. If I accidentally missed yours please add a comment below and I will add it to the list (I am updating throughout the day). These words are beautiful and powerful and subtle and really can make a difference in your life. Cheers to 2010.

One of the big things I noticed as I read back through all the words
yesterday is that most people want to make some sort of change in their
lives such as a subtraction or an addition. You might be interested in checking out Leo Batuba's (Zen Habits) new blog about habits
called 6 Changes.

My word is RECONCILIATION. It's been a rough year for my siblings and I and we've been working on forgiveness this past year. I'm hoping 2010 will be a year of reconcilation with some relationships that have been torn apart.

    Ali~
I appreciate your post on this.
I have chosen the word - Steadfast.
It has taken awhile to decide...but I think this is it.
Blessings on you as you tell your story,

I love seeing all of these powerful words together! If that doesn't make a change in the universe, I don't know what will! I want to live more by my one little word this year and have started to take action to claim the {QUIET} in my life!
Thanks for blogging and helping me in the right direction!

My word is TONE......Tone is something I am constantly working on. The tone of my voice when I feel impatient inside....the tone of my voice when I am upset......Also, I want to work harder on the tone of my body. Giving time to the importance of taking care of my health and well being (as well as looking better:). My word is TONE!!

I've wanted to jot down some thoughts on my little word "flow" since January 1 - this finally gave me the kick I needed :) I just printed out the wordle image, marked my word with a circle, wrote down some lines, stamped today's date in a corner and stuck it to my wall. Thanks!

My word for this year is Invest. I want to invest more time with God, my husband, my children, and my church instead of outside distractions.

Hi Ali! Please add my one little word for 2010 - SHED. As in shed some weight, shed the clutter around me, and shed the habits I have that are keeping me from being the best person I can be. Thanks Ali! You ROCK!!

My word is Lucky. That is a really cool idea for spinning the words together like that. Twenty years from now we can all make a collage of our own words :-)

I love the word art Ali. What an inspiring list in itself! Have already embarked on making some small changes in my life and am loving the difference in my thoughts and ideas already. As Gandhi said "You need to be the change you want to see in the world". It really is true. In order to change what I see around me, I need to change myself...Love it! Will pop over to that website and have a stickie too. Thanks Ali.

Hi Ali! Me again....I have a question I've been wanting to ask you so I figured here was the best place...Many times you link to items (i.e. the two books about story) on amazon.com. If I use those links to then purchase the items do you benefit from that purchase in any way? I ask because sometimes I do not have a preference where my purchases are made - amazon.com or bn.com - and if I can make purchases that contribute to your "empire" I'm more than happy to do so. (Also hoping you do not find this question offensive) Thanks Ali!

I can never seem to choose just one word! My phrase for the year is going to be "No Excuses!" Primarily, no more excuses to stop me from being the person I want to be, doing the things I know I should do, and living the life I am meant to live.

This is really cool! Very interesting to see all those words and I am impressed by the depth and heart that I see in them. I think the majority of the words could actually apply in my life as well.

I see the word I started with - energy - but not the word I ended up going with - self-esteem - something I have nothing up and hope to have to healthy levels by the end of 2010 by doing daily exercises to work on my self-esteem.

Hey - you got my word, "less," but not sure it should be right next to "give" as my intent is to waste and spend less so I can give MORE! -- lol!!! :)
