Image created via Wordle.

I spent a couple hours yesterday going back through all the comments listing your one little words and the reasons/thoughts behind them. It's always so cool to see all these words listed together. I am working on a layout for my word this year and hope to share it next week.

Below, the words. If I accidentally missed yours please add a comment below and I will add it to the list (I am updating throughout the day). These words are beautiful and powerful and subtle and really can make a difference in your life. Cheers to 2010.

One of the big things I noticed as I read back through all the words
yesterday is that most people want to make some sort of change in their
lives such as a subtraction or an addition. You might be interested in checking out Leo Batuba's (Zen Habits) new blog about habits
called 6 Changes.

    Hi Ali
My word is similar to Michelle J's. My word for this year is PROACTIVE. All those things that I keep saying to myself 'I must do that...' and never get around to doing it - well 2010 I'm going to get them done. I was so inspired by my word last year (SIMPLIFY) and it lead to a number of life changes. Many thanks for doing this Ali, you are truly an inspiration.

That is a lovely way to focus on your home... I would have used Home, but yours is much more 'complete'. Nice.

I know I'm late showing up to the game this year, but it took awhile to nail down the word that would have true meaning for me this year. I can't tell you how much this annual tradition inspires me...I actually did a blog post about it today:

My word is *words*...I thought I posted it earlier... but just in case I didn't I'm choosing to:
    *read and write more words
    *get deeper into God's word
*guard myself against the words I let my ears hear and my mouth say
    Yay!

i find it fascinating seeing how the words change for me.
2008 was "fearless" also written as "fear less".

You simply. Continue. To amaze me. With your creativity, your giving nature and your ability to inspire. I have chosen my one word this year to be "integrity". You embody that word to me. I hope to become a greater self as I aspire to allow the word to cleanse my being and uplift my soul.

G'Day, Just been introduced to your blog. WOW. One word that I thought was missing after reading a lot of the posts was "satisfaction". Your own comment states to me the "satisfaction" that you get from what you read/make/create etc. Looking forward to keeping up with your journey.

Mine for this year is "beloved". I have been struck with that word lately - that i am considered beloved by my Heavenly Father and also that i have so many to love and be loved by here on earth. Also, I just found out that my husband's name also means this. I just bought a set of letters spelling "beloved" to put up in our bedroom
