Sponsor Giveaways : Studio Calico, Memory Works, Lisa Leonard, & Designer Digitals
Three people will win the entire Home Front collection (papers, stickets, journaling cards, and FabRips) from Studio Calico.
The concept of Studio Calico began long before it was a reality. In 2000, while working at a local scrapbook store, April developed an appreciation for innovative supplies along with a respect for preserving memories. Thus, the concept of combining fresh products with non-traditional scrapbook supplies emerged.
At Studio Calico, we hope to encourage the creative process by providing the best supplies on the market as well as a community that is supportive every step of the way.
In the past 2 years we've grown from an idea, to a small boutique of sorts, to manufacturing our own products. As we've grown, we've stayed true to the basics, while looking to the future.
Three people will receive the lovely Word Of The Year necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs.
In addition Lisa is offering a discount for readers. Enter "myword15" for 15% off your purchase.
Here's a bit about Lisa and her business:
When
California girl and young mom, Lisa Leonard decided to start her small
jewelry business five years ago, she had no idea how things would take
off. With a fresh perspective and an artist’s heart she set about
making jewelry that could not be found anywhere else. Her
hand-stamped, sterling silver jewelry is setting the trends and is
loved by women all over the world.
Her hand-wrought creations have been featured in several
national magazines, such as Parenting Magazine, Pregnancy Magazine,
Victoria Magazine and Wondertime. Online outlets are singing the
praises of Lisa Leonard Designs, including Cookie Magazine and
Glamour.com. Celebrities also love her line, including Josie Bissett,
Jason and Naomi Priestly and Jennie Garth.
Each piece is hand-cut, hammered, stamped, polished and
drilled with care in her California workshop. You’ll find the perfect
gift for a friend, grandmother, sister or of course, yourself! And
don’t forget dad or baby. Lisa offers custom keychain and baby spoons
that will warm the heart.

Happy New Year!
Wow what great giveaways. My word in TIME and I was unsure of a format until I caught a blog post of a Cocoa Daisy, Ronda Palazarri. She gave me a great idea to not only capture my word weekly, but to also add a little creativity to it using a 2x3 ATC card. Can't wait to start trying it out. This year I am also going to make a list of Time centered things. That way I will have an idea of what I am working to capture and journal about.

My word for 2010 is JOY. I have made a scrapbook page that is displayed in my craft room as a reminder to slow down and find JOY in everything I do. It's always there, is just sometimes overlooked. :o)

I've chosen the word "nurture." I want to nurture my soul, my relationship with my husband and children, and nurture myself with love and acceptance.
Thank you.

I don't have a word - but I do resolve to make more 'ME' time, working full time and with 3 children under 4, I get very little me time - so I need to put me first occassionally!

I'm still working on my word, but one thing I'm going to try is to spend one night without the tv or the computer per week.

My 2010 word is BALANCE. I am striving to find a balance - between work and home, between things I should do and things I want to do - in my life financially, spiritually and physically. I've bought a new 2010 calendar and have personalized it with BALANCE on the front and will look to that as a reminder for when I struggle with finding my own internal balance. =)

My word this year will be 'ME'. I know it sounds selfish but I really need more time for myself. I'm always thinking about other people and not about myself.

My word is EXPERIENCE. I'm moving overseas and hoping to do more and plan/procrastinate/shop less. I want to get outdoors more, hang out with family and friends more and do all the things I've always said I'll just do later... now.

Wow wonderful giveaways! Love the necklace!
Last year my word was discipline and I am still trying to work on that aspect of my life so this year my word is focus. I want to focus on the things that are really important to me and my family. I think that will help to blur out the stuff that really isn't all that important.

My word for the year is Faith.
I bought a new bible (pink and chocolate brown!) so I will have my own again... don't know what happened to the one I had growing up... too many moves between ages 18-35.
And we have found a church that we think is a good fit for our family and have introduced our boys to it... working on making that a regular habit.

My word this year is TIME. I have made some "daily" goals I hope to accomplish, then I have one area of life to focus on each month. I have a journal I am prepping for weekly entries on my progress with time this year.
Thanks again for the inspiration!

I have to keep reminding myself of my words because it's easy to forget when you are in the middle of daily life!
Thanks for the chance to win!

My word is Fearless.... so the first thing I have already done is post a layout in my art studio so I can be reminded of intentions this year...
The second thing I did was get out my sewing machine, the books and just start sewing... no rules, no comparisons to others... just have fun and see what I can learn and create without the perfectionist expectations I normally put on myself...
I'll let you know how it all turns out ;)
