Introducing Storyology : A New Class For Technique Tuesday's Bliss Event

I'm excited to share more information with you about the class I'll be teaching at Technique Tuesday's BLISS event in Portland, Oregon from June 10th through June 12th, 2010.

My new class is called Storyology. It's an in-depth exploration of some of the different techniques we can use to tell our stories. The class will be lecture-based with built-in time for creative brainstorming/starting on some of your own stories. Sometimes all you need is a little dedicated time to get things going.

My goal with this class is to give students a practical, go-to list of techniques to pull from each time you set out to document a memory or a moment of your life, whether from the past or present. I hope to inspire students to include those very special words that will communicate so much more than a photo alone.

In addition to my class, the price of the event includes five other creative sessions taught by the experienced Technique Tuesday team where you will
create scrapbook pages, hand-made cards, home decor projects and more.
During each of the creative sessions I will be sharing some of my
personal creative philosophies related to the concept or theme of each project.

And how about this? Each person attending BLISS will receive over $250 in scrapbooking
& paper crafting products.

Technique Tuesday is offering an early registration discount price of $299 through Friday, April 9th. After April 9th the price will be $325. To get all the details and to register go here.

I'm definitely excited to be preparing this workshop and to be working with the team at Technique Tuesday. They have been a fabulous company to partner with for the creation of my acrylic stamps. Their personal passion and dedication to creativity and memory keeping will make for a wonderful, inspirational event.

I hope to see you there.

I hope everyone who celebrates had a lovely Easter yesterday. Look for photos and a recap from the Edwards' coming tomorrow. Also, thanks for the well-wishes on the illnesses we have been continuing to deal with around here. I think I am on the mend once again and am holding my breath that no one else gets sick this week.

I too wish I lived closer (I'm in Missouri). Wishes of good health to you and your family. Ali, what font did you use for the 'story' part of your storyology logo? Thanks so much.
