Sponsor Giveaways : Little Light Studio, Big Picture Scrapbooking, & Mondo Beyondo

Lightscameraaction_ad_ali

Two people will receive full tuition to Lights! Camera! Actions!, the latest online photo editing course from www.littlelightstudio.net.

Once upon a time in a land far, far away (aka the internet) Kayla Aimee Terrell and Wilna Furstenberg  hosted a few online classes together. Soon, their Bling Out Your Blog class outgrew it’s online home. “Whatever shall we do?” they asked themselves. And then the prince climbed up the tower…no wait, wrong story. Then they worked and worked and created a new space to offer classes, with cute classrooms and lots of free goodies.

Little Light Studio is now home to online scrapbooking, photography and blogging workshops as well as free tutorials and printable products! The latest class, Lights! Camera! Actions!, is offered in collaboration with www.scrapartist.com and focuses on photo editing techniques such as color tints, vintage washes, skin smoothing, web editing and more! Plus, it includes a private class forum, photos, bonus editing kit and a 20 page photobook template! People from all across the land came to spruce up their photos. And they all lived happily ever after!

SPECIAL OFFER : Now
through June 15 readers can enter code AE15 at checkout to
take 15% off enrollment in the workshop.

One person will receive a spot in Tracey Clark's upcoming Big Picture workshop: Picture Summer

Picture Summer is a 30-day photography project intended to encourage and inspire you to celebrate the season of sun and fun by playfully engaging your creative spirit.
As you are greeted each morning with a new photo prompt in your inbox, you will discover new ways of seeing things as you point your lens toward your daily life and the world around you. Summer is a time where most daily routines are turned on their ear and the combination of long sunny days, warm weather and a lack of schedule can be a blessing (offering a well-needed reprieve from the rest of the year) and a challenge (chaos, kids, travel). Taking a few minutes to put it all in perspective will help make your comings and goings that much more enjoyable. The imaginative guidance of this e-class will be a perfect way to start each day.

It is my hope that by participating in the Picture Summer 30 day project, that you will not only be pursuing happiness, you will be living it, one day, one picture at a time.

SPECIAL OFFER : Ali Edwards readers can enjoy 10% off the Picture Summer workshop at BigPictureScrapbooking.com! At checkout use the code: splashysummer to redeem your discount.

After almost 10 years of being unemployed because of my body not doing what I want, I've taken the first step of getting back to having a job.
I'm a cabinetmaker originally, but I'll probably never be able to get back to that. I have to make up my mind about what it is I want to do and then start all over again! I'm a bit anxious, and nervous, but also feel like I'm fresh out of school starting life all over at 39!

I would love to learn how to take better photos and improve my journaling skills. And the hard one - to accept who I am.
Great giveaways, as usual. Thanks for the chance to win.
    Cheers, Irene

While, I am always eager to learn anything that will help me be more creative, this summer, I am hoping to learn to let go. I need to let go of stress & anxiety. I need to enjoy life more, be the best mom & wife that I can be, stop being so overprotective and let them be boys. I think that my eldest son's Autism has trained me to be too on top of my kids. In order to keep Cole from getting into things that he shouldn't, prevent the next melt down, or make sure he isn't going to try to make a run for it, I have to know what he is doing at all times, never let him out of my site... This has made me feel like I have to be the same to all 3 of my kids. It made some sense when they where young but they are growing up, It's time to let them do more for themselves and let go a bit. Do more cheering on the sidelines, instead of interfering with the game. This alone adds more stress on me, than I thought possible. When you have done something everyday, for nearly 12 years it becomes a part of who you are. It's time to make a change, move on to the next chapter in our lives. It's time to enjoy life, and stop worring about the what if's...This is what I hope to learn this summer.
Thanks for the great give-aways! Your the best! Have a fabulous holiday weekend!

Oh to be a STUDENT again...what joy! Now that the school year is almost over...I, the math teacher, would hope to shift my focus from TEACHING to LEARNING. I hope to learn in my off months from school how to appreciate all that my son and daughter have to offer...to learn from their humorous (and not so humorous) moments...and document all of them through my camera lens.

This summer I hope to learn more techniques with my camera to get "telling" photos. After 11 years of scrapbooking, I need a different slant or look on life in my scrapping. Your site/blogging is helping me think about "what story" I am telling.
    Thank you Ali!!

Over the past 6 months I have started to hear more about digital scrapbooking. I have Photoshop Elements but just know the basics. I would love to start doing some digital scrapbooking for the everyday adorable pictures that I never know what to do with. I also think it would be cool to scrapbook while we drive the 16 hours up to Montana for our summer vacation.

This summer is my first time going to school after five years off to be a mom. I hope this summer helps me learn how to balance my life between school, family, friends, and myself, and that I can learn to enjoy the little things in each day.

I hope to learn how to take great pictures with my digital camera; it seems that I am tempted to revert to my film camera because I don't like the delay in digital. (My son keeps smiling AFTER I take the picture.)
