December Daily™ 2010 | Day Twenty-Three

Welcome to Day Twenty-Three and Merry Christmas Eve!

Took a great little series of photos of Anna yesterday. I re-sized each one to 3x2 and put them together on one 6x8 canvas.

I typed (with the typewriter) the sentiment, punched it with the circle punch shown below, and adhered it to a metal-rimmed circle tag.

This little circle punch from EK Success is the perfect size (makes a 1 inch circle) for creating circles to go inside metal-rimmed circle tags.

Had to get in one more day of Instax photos. I want to remember to bring it downstairs on Christmas morning.

Similar to Day Nine, I adhered all the photos down and this time added a bit of stitching along the bottom row.

SUPPLIES : Ali Edwards 2010 6×8 December Daily overlays; Metal Rimmed Circle Tags; Instax Mini Camera; Paper Shapers 1 inch circle punch from EK Success; Teresa Collins Red Number Transparency; K&Company Handmade Collection Fabric Art Lace Frames

I hope you have a wonderful celebration today and tomorrow. Peace and blessings to you and yours!

Merry Christmas to you Ali, and everyone!

This has been the best December I can remember, writing the DD stories with my mother. Now we are working on the photos for both of our albums. (Thank you for creating the 6x8 templates!

Mom has enjoyed the writing - our deal is that she writes and takes/chooses photos then I help put the pages together and get them printed.

    Hi Ali,
Hope you've had a wonderful Christmas with your family and got to relax! You've worked so hard on this!!
I'm up to Day 23 (just posted my link) and will hopefully get Days 24 and 25 done today - need more photo paper! Originally I planned to do all 31 days but am feeling a bit burnt out from the process so will add a Day 31 at the end but won't worry about Days 26 - 30. I've LOVED this project though and have been taking notes on what to do/change for next year.
Thank you for all your tips, techniques and inspiration!
Looking forward to OLW!! A question though ... have you ever picked a word that your entire family can focus on throughout the year? And if so, how do you accomodate the different ages so each person contributes? We've been having some family "issues" this past year and I thought picking a family OLW would be a good idea to work on our togetherness in 2011.
    Thanks again,
    Alison
