Time! I would rather have memories with the people I love most than something bought at a store!

My favorite thing to receive for Mother's Day is my children's company & possibly their time. I love working with them renewing my flower bed (which isn't all that big).

Time with my kids is my favorite Mother's Day gift. Time to laugh, play and hug. We all run around way too much and I love to spend the day just being with them.

Since my Mother passed away, I spend some time on Mother's Day celebrating her. Looking at her photos, reading her recipes, telling stories to my family. Just loving her and how wonderful of a Mother she was.

Phone calls from my kids and grandkids who live out of state, and last year's "Happy Mother's Day" text from my stepdaughter made my day.

I love it when my hubby helps the kids make me breakfast. They take it so seriously. It's hilarious. They even make me a menu-courtesy of our "resident artist."

As my Mom has lots of "stuff" I try to give her experiences or consumables that she would enjoy. Last year I gave her dipped fruit that was arranged like flowers. She loved it and told me she had never had a strawberry dipped in chocolate. She is 76 years young and had not experienced that. So this year, she will receive the fruit again since its a winner. I always send a handmade card and some seeds to plant as she loves to garden. Amazing giveaways. Lisa is a wonderful artist and well, I am in love with elephants, so what can I say.

My favorite thing to receive on Mother's Day is something handmade by my daughter...over the years I've been given many handmade goodies...like the time she gave me a piece to hang in my window-pressed flowers in between 2 sheets of acetate with that sticky gold tape around the edge...the dog hair caught in the tape was the best part?!...or the time she made a drawing of me and her...the hair color in her picture wasn't the color of mine nor was the hefty waist or thighs...but I still loved it...that's what Mother's Day is all about.

My favorite thing to receive is ANYTHING made. My kids are kind of past that age, but I would still love it. I feel anything made from the heart cannot be substituted for a store bought gift.

For each of my daughters I make a mini book with my favorite pictures of their children from the past year. This way they can look back and have a few snapshots of their children for each year. These are fantastic giveaways. Thanks for the chance to win.

My favorite thing is breakfast in bed! My kids make it with their dad and bring it up to me. The excitement and anticipation in their faces...they care so much that I will like it...it means the world to me.

I love making either a brunch or dinner for my mom. No clutter and I make sure she stays out of the kitchen (unless she just wants to chat!) for the making of the meal and cleaning up afterwards!
