GIVEAWAY | Two people will each receive a spot in the Up & Running Summer 5K Beginners Course, which starts on 13 June.

Up & Running provides unique online running classes for women. If you've always thought running was reserved for sporty types with bouncing ponytails, we're here to help you discover that running is for everyone. Our 5K Beginners Course is not the usual boring "walk 5 mins, run 5 minutes" program. We offer expert coaching from renowned coach Julia Jones, unlimited support from our community forums, and a mind and body approach that has been tried and tested with thousands of women around the world. Whether you've dabbled in running before or completely new to exercise, we'll not only help you start running safely, we'll get your mind in the right place too.

"Up & Running really has been the best thing I have done for myself in years, and not just for the running. My confidence and happiness in my own skin has increased so much and I love what my body can DO, rather than obsessing about what it looks like."
- Philippa, UK, Spring 5K course

The best advice I received from my mom was to read/receive lots of advice, but then do whatever works best for me, even if it goes against what everyone else is doing or not what the experts recommend.

The life lesson my mother taught me was to treat other people the way you would like to be treated, even when they are having a bad day. Kindness is a good thing.

My mom taught me good health is one of the most important (and luckiest) things to have, and not to take it for granted. I'd love to do the running class - I need something to push me to completing a 5K!

Aw, what the heck. I'll throw my name in the overflowing hat. Would really love to learn to run, but all of these are fantastic giveaways. Thanks Ali.

From my Mom I learned lots of little life lessons. That was one thing she was/is big on. Learning from others mistakes. She always shared her mistakes with us openly so we could learn from hers and not make the same ones. I try to do the same with my kids.

Hmmmm. Sadly, I've learned some lessons by the bad example of my mother. This holiday can be a little bittersweet for me. I'm trying my best to be different, and better, and to treasure the people around me in small ways every way to ensure that they know my love is unconditional.

My mom was a single mom when it wasn't as common as it is today. She gave me the courage to adopt my daughter on my own because of the great role model she was for me. I'm so glad she still lives with us at age 86. She has always told me that if you want something you'll appreciate more if you need to work for it.

My mom, like most Korean moms, is a prayer warrior! She reminds me that we don't have it all under control, but that a higher power is in charge and easily accesible.

A life lesson that my mom taught me was to cling tight to my faith, even when life gets difficult. It has something I have hung on to dearly, especially after losing my mom 19 years ago.

The running course sounds like fun...my girls are in track and cross country and I told them that now that I am 40, my next goal is to try and run a 5k with them!!

Thanks for a fun giveaway and Happy Mother's Day, Ali!

My Mom always taught me to use my imagination. My Gramma Rose always helped me to know "what was meant to be will be". Use that all the time!

"Just let it roll off your back...". I have learned to not read too much in to what people say, or take anyone's criticism too seriously. Best advice ever!!!

My Mom taught me that when I am throwing a party...on the party day, to get myself ready first, then finish up the little details..that way when your guests arrive, you are ready.

I have to say...she was SO RIGHT!!

I so NEED an online running coach!!

My mom's best bit of advice was "don't talk bad about anyone, you never know who they may be related to." In our small close knit community it is VERY true!

When I was little, my mom always told me constantly to wash my hands. I hated to hear those words. However, we all know now that she was right.

I guess the one thing my mom has said and I need to do better of following is when it comes to relationships, it is a 2-way street. She also said to Be Nice. However, I think out of anything, my mom has a way of showing/acting versus speaking advice.

HAVE A GREAT MOTHER'S DAY! And what a great giveaway.
