Sponsor Giveaways | The Mother Load, Summer Card Camp 2011

GIVEAWAY | One person will receive a spot in Lain Ehmann's upcoming 13-week online class at Big Picture Classes: The Mother LOAD: A Scrapbook Marathon

SPECIAL OFFER | In addition to receive $20 off of The Mother LOAD use code: load2011

Are you a marathon scrapbooker? Do you want to be? As crazy as it may sound, scrapbookers have a lot in common with runners. Both can run into the same problems – lack of time, isolation, a routine that has become more of a drudgery than a help. The good news? You can easily overcome these obstacles.

No, Lain won’t make you run 26.2 miles in just a few hours – but she will challenge you to scrapbook 26 layouts in 26 days! Through The Mother LOAD - A Scrapbook Marathon, part of the 4Experts series for 2011, Lain will show you how committing to making scrapbooking a priority in your life will help you:

  • Scrapbook faster

  • Love your pages more

  • Actually USE your stash

  • Connect with what you love best about this hobby of ours

The first two months of class will be spent on “basic training” to increase your stamina, refine your process, and get you mentally and physically ready for the ultimate challenge: creating a layout a day for the first 26 days of September. After you cross the finish line, there will be time for reflection – and celebration!

For more information, and to register, please visit The Mother LOAD.

Honestly I hadn't been very inspired for a long time. I decided to join Two Peas and I made myself do a challenge for the 30 days event. It was the first challenge I had EVER done, and then I did more and had so much fun.I try to do Kristina's challenge every week and I'm slowly starting to do more scrapbooking too.Besides Two Peas I find inspiration at http://www.scrapbookandcardstodaymag.typepad.com
The page maps help me get started.
Thanks for the chance to win !!

Both of these workshops sound incredible! I am a cardmaker and scrapper at heart. I was inspired this week to create a card for my Dad for Father's Day (it will post Mon. on my blog) by a cool card I saw on Aaron Brown's blog: http://aaronsbooth32.blogspot.com/2011/06/clock-faux-stamps.html

This week I was inspired by someone I met online. She has set up a new business that focuses on teaching people to find and use their creativity to discover themselves. She has converted part of her property to hold classes, has decorated it to feel warm, comforting and inspirational. You can 'feel' her enthusiasm through everything she says and does and she's jumped into this venture with both feet, hoping for a soft landing. Kathy is a wonderful woman and is th ebest inspiration for life that I could have this week.

Love these classes! I don't have a link to share but was simply inspired by pulling out photos I've printed long ago. I scrapped a beautiful layout of my daughter simply because I was so inspired....and because my kids were at Grandma's house!

I work at a summer camp & conference center. A grandmother came in to register her grandchild for camp. She was wearing a summery white shirt with bold, splashes of color, but it was her attitude that inspired me--happy, sassy, confident.

I am a high school teacher and read a quote that said teaching is one fourth preparation and three fourths theatre! Inspires me to want to be a better teacher in a way to get to know the students better which, in the end, will get them to learn more and better. I also think this will make me better mom!
