Dancing In The Light

Last weekend Chris took some photos of the kids while they were playing in the tent we'd put up in the yard. Simon had actually requested he come out and take some photos of his shadow.

While he was out there Anna started doing a little dance, as she likes to do from time to time, and he took a bunch of shots in a row of her moves.

When I loaded them onto my computer I wondered what they would look like if I added them into iMovie. Here's the silly, 12 second result:

Hope you have a wonderful light-filled weekend!

I love it! And aren't you clever to think of iMovie! (that's a dormant program in my Apps folder...)

I cannot ever help myself when you post stuff like this; I smile as though they were my own grandchildren. Ali, what a model family you and Chris have made. Truly what, for me, defines "family values" in all that you do. Enjoy, enjoy, in joy!

Simon's shadow reminds me of Peter Pan :)
Anna is Wendy off to help the lost boys of Neverland :)

Thanks Simon and Anna for trip back to my childhood today!

aww...so sweet! Love that you strung together the static shots to make a mini movie. Reminds me of my baby girl, she too likes to dance with her whole body using those arms of hers!

I wonder if Simon was worried he would lose his shadow if his dad didn't take a picture of it (like Peter Pan did)...Adorable and how thoughtful of him. Love the video of Miss Anna dancing! Reminds me of my own daughter when she was two storming up the stairs to the stage in an auditorium after her sister got finished dancing.
