I love when we grill filet mignon on the grill (especially if it's snowing) and my sister-in-laws coffee cake that she makes every year for Christmas morning brunch.

Fudge, peanut brittle...I think that anything with sugar.

Cut out and decorated ugar cookies which are made by myself, my husband and my two children.

Oyster Stew!

One of my favorite things is Derby Pie...chocolate, pecans, butter, a hint of whiskey....It is very, very rich. Therefore, definitely something you make when you have friends over and there is not a chance of leftovers. :)

My favorite thing to eat during the holidays is my favorite thing to eat any other time of year - CHOCOLATE. But it comes in different forms at Christmas.

Wow -- what a great Christmas gift to me this would be! Favorite holiday treat -- we call them Norweigan Wedding balls -- they are those little butter and pecan cookies that are rolled in powdered sugar -- they have about a thousand different names.

hhhmm favorite thing to eat during the holidays.... I would have to go with our family recipe for Pini Cheese. LOL It is a cheese ball of a mixture of cheeses. My husband is not a fan but my brothers and I grew up on this stuff! The recipe comes from a local restaurant that my parents frequented and the family gave my mother the recipe. I made it one year for my husbands family party and it sat on the table and no one touched it! Like it was some kind of alien food! LOL

My favorite is homemade mint brownies. Only problem is, when I start eating them it's hard to stop. But I love the fact that Christmas is the only time of year that we eat them... it makes the treat feel more special!

I love to eat roasted Chestnuts while window shopping in the cold holiday weather. I also like all sort of caramelized nuts.
