Here's two of the three sets of stamps that I'll be giving away:

Also, Hero Arts will also be giving away five prize packs that include brand new 2012 Catalog stamps. The five winners will be randomly chosen from ALL of the blog hop comments received by midnight PST on Monday, December 12, and will be announced on the Hero Arts blog shortly thereafter.

All the new stamps will be available on December 10th. Check out HeroArts.com for a store near you.

IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME HERE, WELCOME! Normally a process post like this would happen over on my Projects blog but since this one includes a giveaway it's happening here (and there's lots of December Daily goodness happening over there). If you'd like to learn more about my site check out my Welcome or About Ali pages.

Here's a look at a stamp I love from the new catalog and the one I'm using in my layout today:

Hello zig zag!

I decided to do a page that highlights some of the things I love about Anna right now.

Here's a look at my process:

I used the new Hero Arts Zig Zag stamp to create a pattern on my white cardstock with Jenni Bowlin Chewing Gum and Malted Milk inks. I didn't stress about making it perfect because I knew I would be adding content on top.

I started by adding a sticker border (Sassafras for Studio Calico) along the bottom - popping it up with foam dots.

I knew I wanted the title to read "Things I love" and I hoped it would fit in that space. Chipboard letters are American Crafts Goodness by Amy Tangerine.

Photo is 4x6 and was printed with a white border.

And yes, another one of those wood flags is popping up here. I love those things.

"Beautiful" is from a set of GCD Studios Melody Ross Soul Food Collection Chipboard Stickers.

For the journaling I used one of my Awakening 4x6 overlays. I opened it in Photoshop, added my text and printed on cardstock.

Along the bottom of the overlay I added a bit of washi tape (I think that came in a Studio Calico kit), her initials in those great little Lily Bee alphabet letter stickers, and an old metal arrow (I think from 7gypsies). Love those arrows. Someone should make those again.

Putting up our tree, unwrapping special ornaments and placing them on the tree, remembering the good times past and anticipating making more good memories.

My favorite is wrapping a baby Jesus from a nativity and it being the first gift on Christmas morning. The kids read a scripture and sing Happy Birthday. Our way of not forgetting the true meaning.

This is lovely. I really like that you used the stamp as a background and repeated it with pastel colors.

My favorite holiday tradition is making/eating my mom's stollen. I think the recipe came from Sunset magazine in the 1970s, and I just started making it myself last year.

    Have a great day, Ali!

My favorite holiday tradition is decorating the Christmas tree on the 23rd after the kids are in bed. And then watching their faces as they see the Christmas tree first thing in the morning on Christmas Eve (which is the day we celebrate xmas in Norway).

One of our favorite holiday traditions is Christmas Eve with my husbands family. It starts with Chirstmas church service, then we go to a favorite mexican food restaurant for dinner and to my mother in laws house for cookies and open gifts. We just lost my mother in law just over a week ago and we will miss having her with us so much this year but it will also be a good time to remember all of the wonderful years we had her with us.

My favourite holiday tradition is getting the tree decorated und light it up the first time. I always stand in front of it and admire it for a few minutes. Until my late teenage years I was not allowed to see the tree until it was lit for Christmas eve. My grandmother kept up the tradition for quite a long time.
I like the zigzag background. And Anna is so adorable.

My favorite tradition is when the extended family gets together at my parent's house after midnight mass on Christmas Eve to open gifts. My father still dresses as Santa to pass them out. Most of the wrapping involves elaborate pranks, so even though we're exhausted, it's a really fun night. Thanks for the chance to win.

My favorite tradition is baking cookies for Santa on Christmas eve and having my grandmother spend the night. Then we'd watch the late news and the local anchorman would report that Santa had been spotted and was on his way. That was are cue that it was time to go to bed!

Interesting that I came across your comment the day after returning from our trip to Prague. Our daughter lives there with her husband and 2 boys, so I've been there many times. It's a beautiful city!

My favorite holiday tradition is watching It's A Wonderful Life with my husband (his favorite holiday movie) followed by Miracle on 34th Street (my favorite). Hot chocolate in hand, snuggled in blankets by the fire, and it is a wonderful life.
