Here's two of the three sets of stamps that I'll be giving away:

Also, Hero Arts will also be giving away five prize packs that include brand new 2012 Catalog stamps. The five winners will be randomly chosen from ALL of the blog hop comments received by midnight PST on Monday, December 12, and will be announced on the Hero Arts blog shortly thereafter.

All the new stamps will be available on December 10th. Check out HeroArts.com for a store near you.

IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME HERE, WELCOME! Normally a process post like this would happen over on my Projects blog but since this one includes a giveaway it's happening here (and there's lots of December Daily goodness happening over there). If you'd like to learn more about my site check out my Welcome or About Ali pages.

Here's a look at a stamp I love from the new catalog and the one I'm using in my layout today:

Hello zig zag!

I decided to do a page that highlights some of the things I love about Anna right now.

Here's a look at my process:

I used the new Hero Arts Zig Zag stamp to create a pattern on my white cardstock with Jenni Bowlin Chewing Gum and Malted Milk inks. I didn't stress about making it perfect because I knew I would be adding content on top.

I started by adding a sticker border (Sassafras for Studio Calico) along the bottom - popping it up with foam dots.

I knew I wanted the title to read "Things I love" and I hoped it would fit in that space. Chipboard letters are American Crafts Goodness by Amy Tangerine.

Photo is 4x6 and was printed with a white border.

And yes, another one of those wood flags is popping up here. I love those things.

"Beautiful" is from a set of GCD Studios Melody Ross Soul Food Collection Chipboard Stickers.

For the journaling I used one of my Awakening 4x6 overlays. I opened it in Photoshop, added my text and printed on cardstock.

Along the bottom of the overlay I added a bit of washi tape (I think that came in a Studio Calico kit), her initials in those great little Lily Bee alphabet letter stickers, and an old metal arrow (I think from 7gypsies). Love those arrows. Someone should make those again.

Our favorite tradition is watching all the Christmas movies, especially "Ralphie sticking his tongue on the frozen pole." Love them all though. Thanks for the opportunity to win some great new stamps.

Since becoming a grandma, traditions have changed at our house. But the one thing we always do is get together to bake cookies. I want my grandkids to have those memories of frosting and cookie batter and the smell of those baking cookies with Nana to carry with them!

Ohhhh, the possibilities of the zigzag stamp. Lovely! Our favorite holiday tradition right now is a big basket of 40+ Christmas/holiday books which the kids pick one out every night for bedtime story. I put most other books away so we can just read & reread all of those. I used to do the wrapped books thing that you do but last year I didn't get a chance to wrap them all so we dispensed with the wrapping and just have a basket. Happy Holidays!

Favorite holiday tradition is going to midnight mass. There is a sense of peacefulness and twinkle - and the choir singing Christmas carols in Polish and English is simply amazing! My favorite time of the year!

I have so many traditions I love about this season but probably the one that I will forever remember and enjoy is that in my small town where I grew up, Santa rides around on a fire truck on Christmas Eve. He calls out your name and tells you to jump up and down if you love Santa so of course, there we all are, jumping around like crazy people on the side of the road. It is so fun! Thanks for the chance.

Christmas seems to be a time of reflection and memories for all of us and the DD keeps all of those things documented for me. Thanks Ali for all of your inspiration.

Favorite Family Tradition: preparing our traditional Polish dinner on Christmas Eve and spending the day with family. Lots of reflection and memories.

Those new Hero Arts stamps are fantastic! My favourite holiday tradition is decorating the tree! It just doesn't seem like Christmas until the tree is up and the house smells like pine!

My favorite traditions are cutting the tree as a family, and watching White Christmas and/or It's a Wonderful Life as a family. Love that it's become a favorite tradition for my daughters, too!

Oddly enough it is tradition in our family to get together and have a chilli and sandwiches supper on Christmas Eve. The kids are usually excited and don't want to sit down to a meal so we "graze" the buffet and watch the kids open presents from the extended family.

Christmas day is spent with each family group having their own private time opening presents and sharing with each other.

We all live close to one another and see and talk to each other every day, so we don't see the need to have a large meal (unless we want too).
