Project Life | Week Forty-Eight

Welcome to Project Life | Week Forty-Eight.

I'm fully aware as I type this that there are 52 weeks in a year and this is week 48.

Amazing.

I started this year knowing I wanted to make this project happen (especially after my attempt last year wasn't as consistent). I know I've said it a bunch of times already during the year, but I'm so glad I did it. Even on the weeks when maybe I didn't really feel like doing it, or during the times when I needed to do a few weeks at a time to catch up after travel or business - it's all been good.

It's everyday life in a wonderfully up-close, bits-of-life, here and there, sometimes detailed, sometimes surface compilation.

And it's the album as a whole that's most magical.

I had the album up in my office most of the week. The weeks when it's down in the kitchen area have a different feel (to me anyway) - I feel like those weeks capture more immediate details (which I love). I'll be taking it downstairs with me as I finish up this post.

I love this week, especially the story of Anna and Simon. Children are so sweet. I also hope you and Becky design stamps for Project Life. That would be so amazing!

Seeing your album and Cathy Zielske's too inspired me to take the plunge and get the Becky Higgins kit and I've been at Project Life for 2 weeks and I am loving it!

amazing, Ali! We don't have this kind of album here at Indonesia, so I had no idea how I can jump for PL, as I don't like using materials that makes all the papers and photos can easily damage.. so I keep our daily lifes in a normal photobooks, which cost more and not as simple but fun as PL. But we are heading up to Singapore next week and my 1st plan is jumping to the scrap store there where my friend had found this kind of album I shown her months ago when I asked her to join PL. So next year will be my starting Project Life. I am so excited. :)

"And it’s the album as a whole that’s most magical." I've placed my PL order. The therapeutic aspect of documenting the mounds of small things that I HAVE done each day is going to be fantastic! This week's LO looks so calm & fresh - love it!
