Studio AE from Technique Tuesday | December Blog Hop

Welcome to the December Studio AE from Technique Tuesday Blog Hop!

This month's stamp set is called It’s OK.

Here's a look at my layout:

This layout is a 2-page, 8.5x11 - the first page is a full 8.5x11 photo.

I created a tag using the It’s OK stamp set and stapled it to the top of the full-photo page.

For the second page I paired a 4x6 vertical photo with some pattern paper (loving those little 6x6 pattern paper pads) and strip journaling.

The strip journaling is printed on pattern paper. When I print on pattern paper here's a look at my process:

1. Do a test print on regular paper.

2. Temporarily adhere the pattern paper on top of the area I want the journaling to print (on top of the area where I just printed).

3. Run it through the printer again.

Then I cut out the strips and adhere onto my page.

At first I'd planned that it would be all aligned to the seam between the pattern paper and the photo but decided to overlap the seam.

The "there you go" title was created using Lily Bee Head Over Heals Alpha.

The "9" button on the bottom represents his age. The circle was punched with a 1.5 inch circle punch.
