This is great!! Thanks! My word for 2012 is "Endure". I have had a really rough 2011 and 2012 is not starting out so good, in my finite mind anyway. But God has promised that "blessed is He that endures" and that the Lord will endure. So, because of Him, I can and will endure this year, with all its trials and difficulties. Thanks!!

Hello, Ali. Let me first say that it is amazing how the universe works in such a way that thoughts and ideas permeate without us really knowing why. However, it is always exciting when what you think is your unique thought or idea is found in the "world" of many. I made the commitment to keep to a "word" this year and post each month to that concept. And, in the last week or so I found blogs speaking of choosing words of the year. It wasn't until this morning that I found the connection to you. Yeay! Here is my word of the year -- Gypsy. If you would like a meaning, I give a little reason for choosing this word under the picture of the Gypsy on the upper right hand side of my blog. Enjoy your day. Peace. Brianne

My word came to me a little late this year. I decided to go with fruit. I like fruit- it's sweet, fun to pick and eat. It reminds me to produce and really make this year. It also gives the credit to God. I'm using Matthew 3:8 to bear fruit in keeping with repentance. It reminds me why I am doing what I'm doing and where my source of strength comes from.

I have been following your blog since starting One Little Word and I just wanted to tell you how much you have inspired me. I love the One little Word project and have started my own version of one little week. Thank you for giving me an avenue to express my creativity.

My word is Grief I would love to see it on the list.

My word is here. I've been in since this started and don't know how I forgot to post it! I need to remember to not rush through life to worrying about what I have to do next or where to go tomorrow. I need to stay in the moment and enjoy exactly what I'm doing instead of being there physically but some where else mentally. In having this word for 2012, I am trying to balance and not over do...trying to subtract the negative and keep things that will help me to be a better version of me.

My word would have to be "rebirth". I suffer from PTSD and recently started a program that has made a HUGE difference in my life...hence the word rebirth :o)

I'm a bit late from 2012 but I just found this and I think it's perfect! I don't think the word that I'll use is up there but I think it's going to be always..
I find it's a very versatile word and can be applied to most situations such as always be kind respectful loving etc.. Always remember to appreciate all of what you do have and remember what you once had before, always wear a smile, always believe, you get the point but yeah? I can't write inspiring stuff because I'm basically illiterate- sorry... Anyway to all of you becautoful people if you happen to see this, I wish you every happiness:) xo
