Even though I posted my word, I don't see it listed. My word is explore. Maybe I'm the only one who has it this year?

I am so excited to do this project for the first time. My word is grow! I have so many ways that I want to grow personally this year, but I also chose it because we found out in late 2011 that our family will be adding baby number 6! So I thought I could also chart my growing belly and baby!

Hi Ali, I love your One Little Word project! My word is not on your list yet, it's VISIBLE. All about expanding and being seen, very scary but also exciting. Thank you for all your inspiration :) Kerstin

Hi Ali, my one little word for 2012 is Achieve. I have many goals I am going to work on in 2012 and felt this word was more of an action word to help me move forward in my life.

I've chosen the word "Fulfilled." It speaks to me on two levels- one, feeling satisfied with what I have and where things are in the present, and two, fulfilling promises and commitments that I tend to avoid as a very talented procrastinator. Thank you for the inspiration and time you have poured into this One Little Word adventure for all of us!

Love seeing all the words! I had previously posted that "free" seemed to be my word for this year and after several days of trying on other words that is still the one that is ringing most loudly so I'll be sticking with it! To that end, over the weekend, I actually made strides in "freeing" myself of some of the clutter in my home. "Free" is also tying in quite nicely with my participation in CZ's Move More Eat Well class!

The word that keeps coming to me is LOSE.
Yes, lose weight ... but lose self-doubt, lose the sadness and despair that sometimes overcomes me, lose the selfishness.

My one little word is PRAISE. (I don't believe that I saw this anywhere on your list nor in any of the comments.) I want to praise God more for all of His blessings; I want to truly live a life of praise and I pray that it will effect every area of my life and touch the lives of my family, friends and others. :)

    Hi Ali,

I think what you are doing with OLW is so amazing.

I changed my word from 'release' to 'invite.' I wrote about that here. http://www.cynthiacrysdale.com/?p=96

I LOVE your word and I too hope that this year is full of UP for you too.

Mine for this year is more a phrase than a word- 'choose happiness'. It is how we described the life my late grandmother lived. Despite having very little, aside from love, she was the happiest person I ever knew. She chose to be happy and positive. And we were all the wealthier for having been a part of that life!

If I had to make it just one word, it would be CHOOSE! Life is full of choices. I want to choose wisely... I want to choose happiness!

My word for 2012 is "money". I have always been pretty good with my money, but as I approach my retirement, I wanted to make it my "word" for 2012 and to really ENJOY making it my focus for 2012 and to make my budgeting sense even better. I absolutely LOVE my OLW...
