Project Life | Week Twenty-Five
Welcome to Project Life 2012 | Week Twenty-Five.
Still catching up a bit this week. Hope to have Week Twenty-Six (which was last week for me) up later this week after the 4th.
I bought a car this past week - a Subaru Outback again. Those of you in 31 Things might remember reading my story about all that. Super happy with my decision.
"Loved" was written using a Slick Writer and the rest of the journaling was done with an American Crafts Precision Pen. The bubble on top of Simon's pirate photo is from Studio Calico.
I included Simon's first week of his reward chart (something we are trying that was recommended by a new psychologist we've been taking Simon to see).
Anna's first trip to the dentist. Chris took both kids while I was out of town - the hygienist took this shot and emailed it. They said she did great and when she talked to me about it she sounded so totally proud of herself.
A collection of images and stuff from the Your Story Retreat.
I took the sheet of wax paper that had paint on it from our painting day, folded it in half, trimmed it and added it to my album. I love how it also becomes a bit of a see-through element (I'll probably just leave one open on the other side to see through).
I printed a landscape image, cut it in half, and hand-wrote journaling on one side directly on the photo. I added a label from a candle to the other side of that photo.
The "Your Story Matters" photo was taken by Jessica Woodford and the group shot was taken by Vivienne McMaster.

Yeah, you got your Subaru! I totally nodded when you wrote about your cars during 31 Things. My Forester has been my fave car ever. :)
I really love your right side - from the Your Story Retreat. Looks like an amazing time!

Yay for your new car!!! It looks super roomy too! I just finished writing up my transportation story...it's pretty cool to see the evolution of cars that I've owned throughout the years.
Enjoy your new ride:)

Loved that you used the wax paper. What a great week that was - still reeling from the magnificent time. Missing you this morning.

I know summers are busy and your plate is full (as is your life right now - sincerely happy for you and how you've been able to embrace the new) however I am still anxiously awaiting a post on how you balance your time in documenting Anna and Simon in your scrapbooking! I hope you remember me and what I'm talking about! :)
