Project Life 2013 | Week Eighteen (Includes April Day In The Life)

Welcome to Project Life 2013 | Week Seventeen (April 29- May 5).

I just want to say a big thank you to whoever it was out there in the world who created that geotag icon. I can't get enough of it and I loved pairing it with Dear Lizzy great little rolling stamp.

Yesterday I shared Week Seventeen which included a bunch of handwritten pieces that Simon has brought home from school and a few photos from a weekend adventure. Week Eighteen includes almost all photos + two journal cards. Again, I made the decision to try a couple different ways to simplify the process to catch back up because my personal favorite way to document and experience this project is when I get to do it each week vs. going back in time.

Big type (using the Bebas Neue font) on two photos was paired with Trendsetter letter stickers from Fancy Pants. We said "goodbye" to cable and "hello" to more time outside.

That awesome day of the week flair sitting on top of a printed Outline 3x4 journal card is new from the Kelly Purkey June/July kit.

This week also includes my Day In The Life from April tucked inside a 6x12 page protector. You can see my post that included photos and observations from April here.

This year I'm using a 6x12 layered template set and a 6x12 photo collage template each month for Day In The Life.

More photos than words. There's a time and a place for sure.

The "heart adventure" journal card is from my Hello Weekend set.

I also loved the idea of rotating my text in Photoshop to follow the line of the road in the photo of me looking in the car mirror (we were parked). Text directly on the photos is such an easy way to include the story in Project Life.

Love seeing all these catch-up PL posts! The writing on the road does look so cool, great idea. YIKES! Two hours waiting on the road is not so great though. Cool seeing the hello/goodbye photos, I remember that post. Hope it's still going well and more time outdoors now with summer here.

I like the mostly photos in my pages too, some weeks are made for that. The best thing about PL is there is NO RULES!!

Thanks again for sharing and have a happy day!

Hooray! More Project Life! Keep 'em coming! :)

Great photos of you and your guy and I especially loved the HELLO and GOODBYE font. I'm thinking I could do that with large alphas on I hand. I'm a purely paper memory keeper...i don't even own a printer. gasp. hahahaha.

I saw that first photo of Simon and Anna on the porch and thought "WOW!!!" Simon sure has gotten tall-his legs look so long. The transition to middle school is definitely bittersweet and a new adventure for all. Hope it's a good one for him!

Bebas is such an awesome font. It's been getting a lot of use on my pages recently.

Looks awesome! I love all the photos you've used, and the way the day in the life looks. How did you do the text on the road on an angle like that? I've only been able to figure out horizontal and vertical text in photoshop so far...

AGAIN thank you for making my day...always truly LOVE your PL posts. Always "fun" always "inspiring" and always make my want to continue my own PL...I'm alittle behind, have been SO good until this last month. On another note I just read yesterday your AE creative lifts (love LOVE by the way) but anyway as I was reading it, I said to myself WOW that would make a really awesome tattoo, THEN you mentioned that in the end. WOW again...if you considering Ali I think it's really meant to be:) I have to say I litterally waited until in my early 40's to get one and I have NEVER regreted my tattoo at all...love it, a simple pure gentle reminder to me everyday! Ok..I know...I'm pushing:)
