Story Prompt 3x4 Cards Printable & Other Good Stuff

One of the big things people requested in the recent AE Blog Reader Survey was more printables.

In many of the products I create for Designer Digitals I includes a printable PDF - especially for all the 3x4 cards that can be used for Project Life® (or on traditional pages - working on a layout right now that uses my 3x4 Easter Blessings Cards).

I also want to make it easy for you to get more stories told. Bring on the words! This week I created a new set of 3x4 cards called Story Prompt Vol.1:

When you download this product you'll get a two-page PDF printable for easy printing of the cards. I use Epson Matte Presentation Paper for printing at home.

I include a peek at these printed out in my video last week about the Photo Flips. Catch a glimpse here.

Next up this week is a new set of starburst PNG files with that include the days of the week:

I played around with these using the Silhouette and they turned out really cool:

If you'd like to learn how to trace PNG files using the Silhouette software check out a tutorial here (it's EASY).

I've got a layout on my desk right now that includes that today starburst that I'll be sharing next week.

My third new product this week are This Day Badges. A fun collection of 15 mini epoxy circles.

Also - just a reminder that there's one more day (ends 4/26 at 11:59PM EST) to get in on the new subscriber offer for Studio Calico Project Life kits. Use code AEPL2014 at checkout and received a bonus grab bag of embellishments.

Hope you guys have a great weekend! We're excited to share an Office Update post next week with tons of photos of how we're organizing stuff in the office including what's working and not working.

    Awesome cards!

A longtime fan of your simplistic style that comes through in many ways, these printables are great. I like that they have enough style to be interesting, but something that doesn't have too much "stuff" crammed onto a card.

    And those star bursts? Love...

So cool Ali that you are so quick to respond to the reader survey...another reason I keep coming back here.

Something I forgot to mention on my survey for ideas...I have done DD since 2010 and have bought the kits and your various digital products. As a Mama to four, I am trying to simplify my life in a variety of ways this year. Though I love PL, this year I left the week structure and am just getting little snippets in there be it a month spread, a week, or perhaps even one event.

Something to think about are some page formats that might allow for flexibility if my DD does not have something every day? Maybe no Dates at all or maybe a week or a range of days? Simplify...that's my mantra :) don't want to miss out on them because they are awesome but I have years that had too much going on some days and others where there was nothing for days, I had no problem moving stuff around but if there were more options that would be pretty cool.

As always Ali, thanks so much for who you are in your place here in blogland, what you to to inspire us and most of all for staying real.

Thanks for the feedback Steph! One of the things I've always hoped with the December Daily stuff is that people would make it work for them. The products usually include options - from printing just the days you want to use to more generic holiday stuff. I'll definitely keep that in mind as an approach and as something to remind people of - make it work for you :).
